I hope you’re doing well.
Several months ago, we upgraded our shop to the Anchor tier, mainly because it includes an invitation to the eBay Concierge service.
However, despite multiple attempts over the past few months to contact eBay customer support, we have unfortunately received inconsistent information and a bit of a run-around regarding our concierge invitation.
I would really appreciate it if someone here could assist us in getting the invitation to the concierge service, as I see this issue has come up a few times before and was successfully resolved.
Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi @ipk-sol
I reached out to the Concierge Team to have your account upgraded. I'll come back to you once they confirm your account has been updated.
Thanks,
Dave

Just out of curiosity was the eBay Concierge subscription your only reason for wanting to upgrade to an Anchor shop as I can't see any other real benefit?
You currently have 5,667 BIN listings meaning you should have previously been paying the following in shop subscription fees:
Featured shop: £77.00 with 1,500 listings included
5,667 - 1,500 = 4,167
4,167 x 0.05p = £208.35
£77 + £208.35 = £285.35
A featured shop is £437.00/month so you will effectively be paying £151.65/month for the eBay Concierge service which is "subject to availability if [eBay] have a significant increase in demand".

Good question!
What you’re not taking into account is the additional items we list and sell each month - around 2,000 to 3,000 - bringing the total number of listings to somewhere around 8,000.
Also, once you factor in the cost of renewing aged listings, the total was coming to about £400 per month on the previous tier. So yes, as you rightly pointed out, it was still cheaper.
The decision to upgrade was more about future growth, the stock management software we are developing, and the Concierge service - which we have been using for a few days now and I honestly can’t praise enough.
If you’ve ever dealt with eBay support, you will know that when you hear an Irish accent, your issue is getting resolved. The Concierge service is basically the Irish Accent Plus service (if I’m allowed to say that!).

It isn't easy to tell how many listings a seller has sold or had listed in the past month by using just the "Sold items" filter. However, the point at which an Anchor shop "breaks even" where the shop fees are concerned is 8,700 listings:
(8,700 - 1,500) x 5p = £360.00 (£437.00 - £77.00 = £360.00)
8,000 listings would leave you paying an extra £35.00/month with an Anchor store subscription which is probably worth it where eBay Concierge is concerned. That is, provided you get the invite and the Concierge service is available when you need it!

I've found eBay's Irish CS reps are barely around these days. As a rule I don't usually bother with eBay's CS reps unless it's a problem I absolutely cannot solve myself; I'm fully aware they'll often tell you what they think you want you hear in order to get you off the phone in order to meet whatever call target they have set. And that's if they even understand the issue you're having to begin with.
