Ebay Unused Label Refund

Hello

I have number of labels not being used due to different courier used but I now find these are not automatically refunded to my account. How do I receive this refund. My understanding was any labels not being used should be automatically refunded but that does not seem to be the case.  Do we need to void label to get a refund or something can be done now 

Please can someone guide.

If you (the seller) paid for an unused Simple Delivery label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller

You will only get a refund if the postage you bought is tracked and you added that tracking number to the system.   Or if the buyer paid for it it will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.

It's only the buyers who get an automatic refund if the Simples Delivery label isn't used.

Sellers have to apply for it!

If you don't use the Simple Delivery label provided, you or your buyer will be refunded, depending on who paid for postage.

• If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used within 40 days
• If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used.  Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

 hi thanks for information have simlar problem ebay added another item into the combine at check out  causing item to go over size and over the weight limit of parcel i had another item to same person in large parcel size and weight  catorgry  so could add those to this parcel using one label but at my own risk as i cant add any more the tracking number from one label to other. 

 what happens to unused label as your info says upto 40 days  wow!!  i am  getting messages  saying post item postage over due please help
