Also the EU  will never buy/import anything from us again where farming is concerned if it doesn't meet strict EU  safeguards on livestock and processed food. Farming in UK will be finished as an export country, also with no access for your Welsh lamb!!!!!!!!

Then there's the NHS. Aided and abetted by the Tories they also want access to our NHS -God help us all..

Tories will, aided and abetted with US will privatise the NHS in a heart beat.

If the Tories decided to make the NHS into a private for profit organisation it would be the end of said party! And they know it! Similarly what evidence is there to suggest that the standards within the EU are the benchmark to follow? We are more than capable of defending our own standards and do not need to fund a huge additional bureaucracy in order to maintain them! As for chlorinated Chicken is that seriously the best argument for not having a trade deal with the US I mean seriously?

The EU is the benchmark. Remember we are part of the EU still and helped a great deal to set those benchmarks- laws/standards. Now we want to abandon all that and start all over again with stuff that will take years,then lower our standards to accomodate greedy Americans in the US Farmers associations.Nae chance we won't be importing any of that c.r.a.p.

Another thing the animal and livestock markets are satified and completed in a few days across the whole of Europe under EU rules with limited fuss . Who wants to waste 6 weeks on container ships with loads of processed **bleep** from America-no thanks

Well how do I respond to that? I consider myself reasonably well read although I do not restrict my reading to any particular leaning, I also voted remain not because I like the Eu as an organisation but because I felt we would have been better off fighting our battles within! I accept the will of the people however and am unhappy with those who continue to fight for a lost cause despite it being their right in a democracy to do so!
My comments about chlorinated chicken were made because no one is forced to consume anything, so what is the problem?
So perhaps you could tell us on behalf of the 54 % of people who voted to leave whether were the same to occur in Indy ref 2/3 or 4 with 54% of the Scottish electorate coming out in favour of complete independence whether you would accept that result as legitimate?

Isn't the repeated demands for further votes on exit and independence a bit like the interrogators who refuse to accept what their victims say and keep on and on demanding that they "admit" what the interrogators want them to say so they keep on and on and on until they wear the victims down then say "See, we knew all along what you really meant"??????

It was 52% who voted to leave which was carried by an English brexit. 2% balance  2% !!!!! Could you have imagined what Nigel Farage and Rees-Mogg would have said and done if remain had gained 2.1% more- Lets have another vote! You bet they would.

Even if the whole of Scotland voted remain-it wouldn't have made a difference in brexiteers eyes- that's why its wrong and a disgrace   MHO.

It was 55% who voted in Scotref1 for status quo- aided an abetted by false promises when they realised Yes could win( remember THE VOW) - 5%  balance 5% !!!! Could you imagine what the unionists would have said if Yes had gained 5% more- Lets have another vote! You bet they would.

It's not a great argument when the biggest country is 10 times bigger by population than the rest, even then only 53% of England voted leave-

If Brexit ref 2/3/4 were each the same as the 1st referendum, with the same question then I would agree with you - but they wouldn’t be.

The proposed referendum if our politicians, following countless votes, can agree on something would be whether or not the proposal should be accepted.

Likewise on Scottish independence - much has changed since the last vote - if you believe in democracy then how can a vote by the people, whether to confirm a previous vote or to propose something new, ever be considered undemocratic?
