Are the Jockanese really going to go for it?

Tonight's opinion polls look like Salmond's promise of a marxist state, funded by fruit from the magic money tree, is proving irresistible and the people living in Scotland may well vote to pull the plug.

Quite why they are being allowed to destroy my country - the United Kingdom - is a key question but at least, without Scotland, we wouldn't have many Labour governments in future, so there is a bright side.

Scots living in the uk should have the right to vote, it's not like they moved abroad they moved down the road a bit.

Why?

Scotland isn't an independent country, (yet?), with its own citizens - if it were your argument may have merit.

It is those currently resident in that part of the UK called Scotland that are being asked if they want independence for the region they live in.   Those who are resident in Scotland when/if it gains its independence will be entitled to citizenship of the new country and will become Scots.

Socialist arithmetic. Smiley Frustrated

The same sort of calculations that think you can run a country by soaking the rich, paying millions of people to do nothing and borrowing from your children and grandchildren to fund current spending.
