problems logging on to ebay

ebay didn't recognise my log in details - I"ve been ordering stuff for years. I had to create a new account but couldn't get my order to process. No problem placing order with Amazon, so are there issues with ebay?

What happens when you try to sign in to eBay using your original account?

If your password is not recognized, try resetting it using the "Need help signing in?" link on the page where you are prompted to enter your password.

Re: problems logging on to ebay

Nope,  no isssues for logging in  reported on eBay.

Do you think you have logged in using Google or Facebook at any time therefore creating a new account and needing a new password ?

Are you the same poster as @10159290  ?  If you are one and the same person then the new account could well have been opened as suggested above.

Are you using a VPN or a hotspot, or an odd network connection?

If you are using a password manager, make sure you are updating it or else try signing in manually. Make sure you keyboard does not have a stuck or flaky key.

If that is not the issue, try signing in using a different browser or a different sign-in link.

https://signin.ebay.co.uk/signin

Sometimes an old link can have issues.

Make sure your browser is up to date:

Make sure your SSL (or TLS) client is current:
