This problem has been ongoing now for over a month. I have contacted Ebay agent several times, each time told " We are aware of the problem, it will be passed to one of our technical team"
I have several items listed with Global Shipping, but when I click " Postage, see postage details" and change country from UK, it is still not showing calculated costs with customs duty tax for other Countries.
It just states " Check item description or contact seller for postage options. "
This seems to be affecting a large proportion of private sellers who are unable to sell internationally at the moment.
This comes at a time when sellers are already having big problems in selling due to the Buyer Protection Fees.
It is something we could well do without and really requires urgent attention.

Is there any update for a fix for this. I have buyers all over the world saying I have excluded there country. I have no exclusions

Honestly it looks like ebay doesn't care. Their silence speaks loudly, pathetic

Hello lochwinnochresales
** See below for a temporary work round solution for this problem**
I think this problem of GSP not functioning correctly and not quoting the cost or permitting international buyers to check out and pay, is related to the roll out of simply delivery for private buyers.
I was told about a temporary work round solution by an Irish eBay agent during my most recent report of this issue, (verbally) with an eBay customer services agent:
**The work round solution for your international eBay buyer to be able to see costs and checkout and pay, is to be signed in on any of the eBay sites other than eBay.co.uk**
so for example your buyer needs to be signed in on eBay.com which they (and .co.uk registered users) can do with normal sign in details
We (.co.uk users) can also verify this works by signing in on eBay.com and changing the delivery country for one of your GSP opted in listings and you will see that the cost of shipping is quoted, no message saying cost varies and to check with the seller
(except for US as a destination of course as they are temporarily “paused” due to the separate issue of tariffs etc)
And presumably this workaround has to be on a desktop version of the website, and not mobile or the eBay app

Nightmare affected sales abroad massively had quiet a lot of people asking to do sales of eBay but prefer the security for both party’s doing it through eBay, definitely space in the market for someone to take advantage off, worked so well for so long such a shame it was mucked about with, I’ve gotten through to customer services a few times but they don’t seem to know anything about it or can’t give any information on it. I keep checking here for information as seems to be only place get any info that helps.

It's July, and this is still not working? I'm having loads of people message me asking for delivery prices to the States and I didn't understand why until now. What is eBay doing about this? 5 months later?

Had an enquiry from a customer in Australia. As they were polite and pleasant in their messages, I decided to post using Royal Mail International Tracked postage.
I had to create a new ‘Postage Policy’ just for Australia as Global Shipping is not functioning.
The eBay ‘Simple delivery’ tried to get me to use UPS and other carriers, and the costs were nearly double my quoted Royal Mail cost.
After a bit of hunting, I was able to locate Royal Mail as my chosen courier, purchased the shipping through eBay and dispatched.
After a few days, the customer messaged to say they could not track the package.
I then noticed that the tracking number eBay provided for the sale did not match the tracking number on the eBay shipping label.
Spent an hour contacting Royal Mail as their own site had not recorded that I had handed in the parcel at a post office. They were able to confirm the package had left the UK and was on its way.
More time scanning eBay shipping label and proof of postage to send the customer and sending a humble message apologising for the muddle.
Thankfully, the customer was patient and honest enough to confirm deliver and left me some nice feedback.
The time and stress for a £20 item has given me second thoughts about shipping outside of the UK
---
On an aside; I created a new ‘Postage Policy’ for FREE shipping but eBay ‘Simple Delivery’ is still showing a postage charge to the potential customers. Global and Simple shipping are a mess, very difficult to navigate and control.
Large Letters under 100grams get charged to the customer at a higher rate than is strictly necessary.
I can’t offer FREE shipping and I can’t set ‘at cost’ postage rates. I can’t win!
