I noticed during revising that all my listings on this small private account are marked 'Subtitle: £0' and when subtitle added and scrolled all the way down it indeed shows '£0 - Revise listing'.
My questions are:
1. is it an ebay error ? or is it an offer?
1a. is it a sneaky offer, so willi be charged the following month(s)?
2. will i be charged regardless ?(i check on my business account that a subtitle is still an eye watering £2.40)

Hi fine-cds, thanks for your post.
As per our policies, adding a subtitle should result in a £2 charge, you can see our fees here. If you confirm a couple of item numbers for me, I can look into it to see what's happening with your listings.
Thank you,
Marco

What's the betting this glich (costing ebay money) gets fixed a lot quicker than the 20% VAT glitch which doesn't cost ebay money?

Hi fine-cds,
Just a quick update on the above. After review, we confirmed that the listing shared as an example doesn't have a subtitle, so the subtitle fee wouldn't apply. If you add a subtitle to any of your listings and the fee does not apply, please let us know.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi
For your amusement, I jast added a subtitle to the listing above.
It shows £0 by the subtitle box and it shows £0 on the blue button below.
If you were to try and charge me for it, I will challange that 🙂
Actually, since I now do your job at finding errors and testing, I require a payment of £20 per hour 🙂
Have fun!

I listed 14 items today the subtitle fee said zero the fee at the bottom of the listing said zero yet I have now been charged £28 this has to be fraudulent £2 per subtitle yet when your actually doing the listing it says zero so this has to be a scam by ebay or theres something wrong with their software no where at all while I was listing did it say I was going to be charged £2 I was going to list some more items but now I dont think I will bother because I just dont trust the listing software at all you cant advertise its zero then charge £2 with no warning at all I knew there would be a catch with this new no fees business not happy at all in fact absolutley boiling about it

Please tell me then why does it say £0.00 ?? when your actually listing the item theres no reference at all that theres a £2.00 fee why is the £2.00 not showing next to the subtitle box as it should be ?? you cant show £0.00 then trick people into using the subtitle box then charge them without them knowing I only noticed because I have just gone into my payments and seen a full list of £2.00 charges !! totaling £28 which is absolutley ridiculous

I would check your ebay payments because thats the only way I knew I had been secretly charged !!
18-11-2024 8:35 PM
My listings were the same the subtitle box said £0.00 so I used it I wont be doing it again because its secret charges which is disgusting behaviour by ebay I only found out I had been charged when I went into my ebay payments and saw the full list of £2 charges !! totalling £28

since i reported this issue 3 months ago, i wasn't charged for subtitles.
if i was, i would be 'very cross'

So get onto customer support and point out that you've been charged in error and need refunds. In case you don't realise, the people posting here are ordinary users like yourself, with no power to fix problems. Only the users who have "@ebay" at the end of their monikers are staffers.
marco@ebayhave you seen this?
