I created four listings last week and saved them with a view to them going live yesterday. When I listed them to go live, I found eBay had changed the starting price of my stuff that is worth hundreds of £'s to 99p. Thankfully, I managed to change them all back again before I had any bids, but what the hell is going on here?

Hi, i want to sell a garden office, i have sold my house to a developer and he is not interested in it only the plot were it is. id hate it to go to waste. the problem is, its value outways my selling limit. can i post it with monthly payments, ie HP, to a buyer, so only a portion of my monthly limit is taken up leaving me some selling scope to sell smaller items with. Hi I have signed up for this managed payments system, I presume we do not have a choice. It appears that now I can no longer sell and I have this message... "You can no longer create listingsYou can no longer create listings Register for managed payments now to create new listings again.Register now" I have confirmed with customer services that I have registered. I have seen a message saying I will be notified "TWO WEEKS" before my account is ready and that it could then take a further two weeks before my account is active to sell again, this was also just said to me by a very young and hard to understand agent. Having been a member of Ebay for over 25 years this seems a little excessive fpr something I imagine is a flick of a switch. Is everyobdy having the same wait....?? I have a worry that this is changing eBay yet again. I was once told by an agent that Ebay wanted to be more like Amazon!! and that I worked for them 😞

I've been trying to verify my paypal account on ebay but the button isn't there and when I sell an item the buyer gets their money back whilst I have sold the item.

Getting really annoyed with not being able to get a proper answer for this! I am an above average private seller on ebay. I have started listing original art canvasses. Problem is they get buried under a million sponsored listings so have very few views. I therefore feel I must promote/sponsor my listings too. I've found it very hard to get to the bottom of how I get this facility. Help sections say its a dropdown on the My Activity section. I have no drop down of promote listing only the regular ones. I then read I might only get this facility added if I sell a certain amount of goods? Well I dont as I'm a normal ebay private seller thats just trying to now sell a few pieces of art. So I go onto chat with ebay, who, after lots of asking colleagues suggest that I need to be invites to promote. I ask them, do I need to set up a shop (minimum package £25 a month) to get access to the ability to sponsor listings and they say YES. So I've just done this and still can't see any facility to promote/sponsor listings?! Argh!!!!!!

Hi, I want to list items for sale but the listings can't go up because my sellinf limit is £0? I've checked and there are no restrictions or outstanding charges on my account. When I click to request more selling allowance it says I am not eligible. Any thoughst? Thank you!

Hi, is there any way, without being totally blunt about it, to get buyers to leave feedback? With no feedback I am left wondering if they were dissatisfied with the item or just can't be bothered. Ann

3 times recently, I have sold things. Then a few hours later I have received ordrs for the same item. How can this happen? If sometrhing is sold it should not still be available. How and why is this happening? Annoying as I have had to tell the second buyer each time the item is not available and refund payment.

I recently discovered someone has used my image and watermarked it with their logo. ( it had already been watermarked by me ) I have contacted them to remove the watermark as its illegal to do this with someone elses work. So far they have ignored me. I have spoken with Vero and theyre no help they dont want to deal with it. Has anyone had the same issue and if so what did you do about it ?

Hi, My listings are suddenly showing with European postage and are therefore at the bottom of the list in the cheapest first view. When you click the actual item it shows free postage to UK, it's only happening in the search item section. My location is UK, and my postage is set to UK, so I have no idea why this is happening. Any help?

Tried to send a parcel via Hermes to France this morning. Hermes website says temporarily suspended accepting parcels. Could this be hours? Or days? It's quite a big parcel and looking at Royal Mail price is £23. Buyer has paid £15. Seems to be affecting most EU countries.

Hi - I have come up across a rather odd reaction from ebay to tracking I submitted for an item sent Registered tracked and traced via An Post Ireland International postal service. I have submited full copy and link to An Post tracking that shows the (admittedly very slow!) progress of an item I sent to the USA. They refunded as the buyer claimed the tracking did not work (it did) and they had not received it - so Ebay refunded them. And it was very slow but did show as still in transit. And I did send ebay proof it was in transit still to USA via An Post. Yesterday I received an email from An Post confirming that the parcel had now been delivered in the USA - I sent a copy of this to EBay and they do not accept it as it says Delivered in USA so will not give me back the money they refunded. This is registered, insured, tracked and traced with Irelands national postal service and Ebay say it is not proof of delivery! Why do they insist in their T&Cs we use tracked traced and proof of delivery and then just randomly say it isnt good enough proof??? I feel a bit cross, buyer now has the product and my money! Anyone else experienced this? I have no idea what to do now as I send everything from Ireland An Post registered post and as it is I subsidise the cost to try and stick to the rules about tracking etc. Couriers are just to expensive and frankly I have not found them reliable with International post. Any idea please?

hi trying to list an item to donate the proceeds to charity but the donation boxes have disappeared? ebay customer service cannot answer this question. is it to do with managed payments? have found this new system very complicated?. any info would be gratefully received many thanks lee

Reclaim PayPal fees - Collection only item - buyer wants refund as they are too far away to collect. I listed an immersion tank on eBay, big item so made it 'Local Pickup only. cash on collection' The buyer, paid using PayPal (he did this after I messaged him to remind local collection only and cash on collection). He is around 180 miles away and decided it's too far to drive, and no longer wants it. If I refund him then I lose PayPal fees and eBay FVF. Is there anyway of reclaiming these? Many thanks

Hello I've just seen on my ebay that the payment status is received but ebay hold with following message: "eBay has requested that the money from your sales be put on hold. Money from your eBay sale will be held temporarily and will be available within 21 days. Add shipping information on eBay to help get your money faster or Contact eBay for more information." Also when i check payment hold status on the item sold it shows: "We don’t have any delivery information or confirmation of delivery for your item so we can’t release your payment until 19 Feb, 2021. You can get your payment sooner if you mark your item as dispatched and we can confirm delivery, by uploading tracking that confirms delivery, or if you receive positive Feedback for the sale." However, on my selling dashboard the item status is awaiting payment where it said "Payment was initiated and is being processed through PayPal" and when i try to print the postage label there is warning: "It looks like the buyer has not paid for this item yet. You should wait until you receive payment before dispatching this order." I'm bit confused of all this, sell i ship the item to buyer? Thanks
