My listings are showing with European postage rates..

Hi,

My listings are suddenly showing with European postage and are therefore at the bottom of the list in the cheapest first view.

When you click the actual item it shows free postage to UK, it's only happening in the search item section.

My location is UK, and my postage is set to UK, so I have no idea why this is happening.

Any help?

Same problem here. All listings are showing European postage in the list/search view. Just spent half an hour on the phone to eBay. It took that long for them to understand what the problem was! They had no answers; raised a technical ticket.

The new rates tables now show Europe as:

"Europe (including the UK)"

That makes no sense to me. The UK is a separate domestic table.

Anybody have any idea what / why / how this is supposed to work? If the UK is now considered a European postage rate....

When I search an item it's only mine that show this postage issue. Others show UK postage.
I've asked a regular customer to check and he's seeing the same.
My sales have dropped, not surprisingly.
You are correct about the UK being separate! I offer free UK postage but it's around £10 to Europe (tracked and signed) so my items that are £3 to UK with £10 postage just aren't going to get much attention!
This has been going on for over a week now, I hope they sort it out.

We can't be the only two people who are having this problem! I would never have spotted it myself, a customer told me about it. I never view the list/search results for my own listings and perhaps others don't either and that is why there are not others raising the question. I don't have great confidence that eBay will sort it quickly so I an going to keep pestering them. Not everbody sells internationally or uses the postage rates tables so that could be why not everybody has been affected.
I am totally guessing bit it could be that the new rates table showing "Europe (including the UK)" was just for European countries and should not have been applied to UK accounts. I think it may say "Europe (including the UK)" to indicate to Europeans that despite Brexit the UK is still part of Europe for postal services. It makes no sense for the UK to be included in Europe for UK sellers.

I've just removed the European rates table from one listing, waited five minutes for it to update, and it has solved the issue.
Providing you still have the EU postage rate in the main selling page, that postage rate is still visible to those in Europe.
So, it seems, the solution is to remove European rates table from all listings. I'm certainly nio waiting for eBay to resolve it, it could take months!

I spoke too soon!
I refreshed the page after another ten minutes and it's back on the listing again!
What the hell is going on?

Now my listings don't even say free UK postage, it now says £10, same as Europe.
Looks like I won't be selling anything while this is going on!

I've just removed both Use A Rate Table from both UK and International within a couple of listings and an hour later they are now showing the correct UK postage in the list/search view. I'll try batch changing some more and see if that works. Of course it now means International Postage is buggered. I'll post again if I can get it to work on all my listings and if it stays that way.

It seems that unticking the Use A Rate Table within each individual listing has worked from him as painful as it is to do.

I seem to have solved the problem but I am not quite sure how I did it as I did nothing that I didn't try yesterday.
I selected all of my listings and went to bulk edit.
Once that opened I again selected all the istings.
I went to Edit Fields / P&P (International) changed it to Flat: Same Cost To all buyers, left the Use rate Table unticked and put in my higest price for international postage and saved and submiited them all.
All my listings then changed to show the correct UK postage in the list/search view.
Within each individual listing the Use Rate Tabe is still ticked.
My intention was to then put a warning in the description for International Buyers to contact me for a correct postage quote but when I change the country in the postage details it is currently giving the correct postage for that country,
I've no idea why this worked and I am ready for it to have reverted in an hour / day / week.

It's apparently a glitch that Ebay are aware of and are working on.

Same is happening to my listings. No one in UK will click through to actual listing with ridiculously high false postage cost. When you click through to individual item postage is correct. Will wait till they fix it.
