Hi, I was hoping someone could help me please. I put a collection only - cash on collection item on eBay last week and the auction was won by a user registered in Cyprus. I’m in the UK. I’ve contacted the buyer to ask if they are in a position to collect the item or if they have bid by mistake not realising it is a UK collection item. I’ve had no reply. I would just like some information please as it is impossible to contact eBay by phone. I can't send out an overseas return postage label, so reading eBay information regarding overseas labels it says send the buyer postage money.  It sounds risky, but there is no other way, I've asked her for her email address which is not on eBay, but get no response. Is there another way to send postage money.  I have to do this by the 25th Feb otherwise she can ask eBay to step in. It's quite expensive item £90. So would like it back. I sold 4 items and 70+ others listed.  I really just learnt about this new seller bank account requirement.   I am selling stuff I've collected over the years, I not a business and not prepaired to send a single item until I receive the funds.  Previously they were instant with my paypal account it was pretty easy.   Should I cancel the other items before they end?   No one in their right mind would hand over something to a buyer without receiving the funds.  I don't sell on ebay for them to be some weird esco (man-in-middle) service.   I've looked around at hobby forums and think i could re-list them some place else.  I don't want to deal with this message of a seller system for some 2nd hand collectables.  I can't beleive they done this, its nothing to do with tax or government that is forcing them to put such policy through.   I set pay out schedule to 1day and still its been the weekend so that's 2days i would normally have used to print labels and dispatch.   I wouldn't accept a sale where someone says here's £10 but leave it there until I get home, mess with what i've bought and then decided I want something else or i write feedback in a weeks time.   Seriously how long do i have to wait?  CHAPs is instance, ebay are just coining in on sales, well they think they are but when sales fall off a clif they'll be sorry.   Regards ... My business account was restricted. Then my selling privileges were reinstated. Then a few hours later they were permanently restricted...which I don't understand.   I spoke to customer service to explain that my selling account was mismanaged after I was a victim of DV, had my spine broke & suffered from depression & anxiety after it. I've just started getting back on my feet. I've sent them proof. Hospital letters, prescriptions etc as they requested.    They flat out don't care. Just wanted to offer hope for some sellers as with ebay money back guarentee they make it seem like there is nothing to be done and we need to refund the customer even when they're in the wrong well we dont.    so a customer bought two healthy plants from me worth £1600, wanted to return them so i said its fine and the boxes were both empty. ebay refunded them so i made an appeal to get my money back and theyve agreed.   How i got ebay to refund me?  All you have to do is contact 'Action Fraud UK' explain what happened, they will give you a refrence number and when you appeal give them this refrence number.  Ebay will **bleep** themselves as its legal govenment stuff and they wouldnt want to get involved so they WILL refund you.  Don't let ebay control you.
