Change to Manage Active Listings layout

Manage active listings no longer has the Summary at the top - showing at a glance Bids, Watchers, Questions etc

I have 2 Ebay accounts.  One has the Summary at the top of Manage Active listings - shows number of bids, watchers etc.  The other used to but now doesn't - I now have to click on the filter buttons - drop down to get information.

How do I reinstate the Summary?

Hello anita@ebay. I have the same problem. Too much filters on seller hub active listing missing. I want as quick as you can return back to the old seller hub version. The new one is totally unsusable. I have the same issues as the other sellers here. My ebay user ID is g.aigisill. Can you help please ?? This happen only on ebay.uk

Thanks for sharing your feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

I had an update from a team, and this change was made due to the feedback they received from sellers, as some users found the page overfilled with features and asked for a simpler view.

If you do prefer the old view, please use the ‘Send feedback’ form located at the bottom of the page on the right-hand side to send your feedback about the feature as the team is reviewing it and this may help you get it changed. I can see that some of you have already got the old view back and I am glad to hear that.

It is crazy that the odd person's wish for a "Simpler View" is taken over the masses that found the "Summary" filter layout more useful and then forced the update (very ironic) on everyone anyway!

Let's face it, how many members have expressed their annoyance with this "Simpler View" as opposed to those who have rejoiced at it?

I have not seen one person say that it is a better layout but have seen may sellers complain about it.

For those that want a simpler view, tell them the install "uBlock Origin" and  they can block whichever elements on a page that don't like to their hearts content and leave the rest of us who find "at a glance info" useful and keeps the interface more streamlined and saves having to dig through many more step to get the same info.

Why not have the original view as default for the masses that prefer "info at a glance", with an option for those that cannot handle useful info the option to toggle a "Simpler View"?

I just don't understand why eBay would make it harder for those of use that have no issues?

It reminds me of when supermarkets brings out a product with a "New & Improved Recipe", which literally no-one asked for, but which was still decided upon by some focus group that have probably never bought/tasted the original.  In almost all cases, the "New & Improved Recipe" tastes worse than the original and the supermarkets don't seem to realise that their customers liked the original the way it was or they wouldn't have kept buying it!

Change for the sake of it!

Wouldn't a debate be more prudent before a designer causes a great amount of financial cost - and indeed frustration to those who are infected by the designers fancies - Maybe that way users could actually have features that actually function and be a benefit, rather than the current situation.

I bet other platforms love ebays direction on changes not fit for purpose.

It's a little ironic that posting as sirjake2nd I first highlighted this problem (see first message).  I said I had 2 Ebay accounts - sirjake2nd and also ladyemm.  sirjake2nd had been changed but not ladyemm.  Now it seems that ladyemm has been changed and sirjake2nd has had the Summary re-instated.

Please re-instate the 'Summary' to the Manage Active Listings page on ladyemm.

It seems that despite messages and feedback from Ebay members to the contrary about this, Ebay seems intent on introducing the new layout.

Same here. Last night this godawful unuseable mess appeared on one of my other accounts. The account is registered with the exact same name and details as this one. You'd think that having already received multiple comments from me on this useless version that they might at least have the basic common sense not to carry on with their unannounced beta testing on an account registered to the same person. I thought ebay are supposed to be able to link accounts! Not surprisingly, they're going to get the exact same negative comments all over again and waste even more of my time as I'm still me and it's still unuseable.
