Updated attribution for general campaigns - This is crossing the LINE!

Ebay have now updated their promoted listings terms and conditions.

" An attributed sale will be when any buyer purchases the promoted item within 30 days of any click on the ad, regardless of whether the buyer themselves clicked on the ad. The item must be promoted at the time of click and the time of sale. The seller will be charged the ad rate at the time of sale. You’ll still only pay when your items sell

Yes Ebay, we only pay when the item sells but once again this is all very deceptive, greedy and insulting because the chances of paying for a promoted listing if the ad is clicked on is now basically 100%!! So if no one clicks on the ad the seller LOOSES with less visibility and If the ad IS clicked on, the Seller LOOSES because the listing WILL be charged. So the seller looses either way.

And ebay this is not too mention the fact that you are haemorrhaging buyers to other platforms which which makes business even harder.

Wow Ebay! Seriously, have lost your mind?

Whatever mathematical model you are using to optimise your profits via your rules, I would advise you to edit it soon because you are destroying your reputation in the long term.
