I'm new to EBAY and am still trying to get used to all EBAY's systems and stuff. I have only sold a few products so far, and I noticed on the Manage All Orders page the leave feedback buttons next to the products sold. Well I haven't quite got round to leaving feedback to my Buyers...
And to be honest I didn't want to do feedbacks so soon after Buyers bought something - I wanted to wait 30 days (standard time for product returns) in case the Buyer wants to return the product, which in turn would probably affect what I would say in the feedback. But anyway, am getting slightly off topic...
Since I haven't done any feedbacks yet, some days later I get an email/message saying that "There Are Items Awaiting Your Feedback" - which when I click on it goes to Share Feedback page with all the products sold (and one cancelled) I haven't left feedback for yet, buttons to click on.
But the thing is, why are there two places to leave Buyer feedback, or are they the same thing? ***see attached images below***
Manage All Orders (page) >>> Leave Feedback (popup window)
LEAVE BUYER FEEDBACK LOCATION 1
Share Feedback (page) >>> Share Feedback (popup window)
LEAVE BUYER FEEDBACK LOCATION 2
These two "Feedback" popup windows look very different. It is confusing having two different kinds of "Leave Feedback" popup windows if they are both supposed to do the same thing.

"which in turn would probably affect what I would say in the feedback." ???
Sellers can only leave positive or none at all.

What I meant by "which in turn would probably affect what I would say in the feedback" is, say for example a Buyer buys something and keeps it, I would leave standard kind of feedback like: "Thankyou for your purchase".
But if a Buyer cancels their order before I even send the product, I can't really say "Thankyou for your purchase" because they obviously never purchased anything.
Generally my point when I said that was certain orders and certain customers might require different worded feedback. But ignoring my oddly worded sentence, it still doesn't explain why there are TWO LEAVE FEEDBACK LOCATIONS on EBAY.

Oh? In what way not fit for purpose (other than the two feedback locations I've already mentioned).
Anyway, I was only considering using the feedback after read what other people had said in a few places that it could be a good idea to use the feedback as it "might" help promote Sellers at least a little bit in the long run (although I don't really expect it to help me much, it was still something I was investigating).
Out of interest, of all Sellers out there, who actually uses Buyer Feedback and thinks it's actually worth it?

It's the same feedback either way and I expect there are other pages also where you can leave feedback too.
There's quite often several different pages and ways of doing the same thing on ebay.

Just to add, if sellers want to check out buyer feedback they would be better checking their "Feedback left for others".
Sellers can only ever leave positive feedback so they always have 100%.
"Feedback left for others" however. gives you a much better picture of what sort of buyer they are.
