returns

Just when you think you have seen it all on Ebay, something always comes along and surprises.

Buyer purchased wrong size small tool (thread tap) 100g large letter size, opens return. Few days latter...

Postman knocks on the door with a very large box weighing 15kg, containing a coffee maker!

Now the sender is arranging collection to send on  to correct customer.

I don't know if it is related, but when you arrange for a postie to pick up parcels from your home, they (RM) offer to bring a label. In fact if you arrange collection through Simple Delivery you do not get the choice to not have the postie bring a label. Fine if you only have one parcel for collection. Imagine though that you have two or three or four parcels for collection. How does the postie match the correct label to the correct parcel? Even if you the seller label the parcels somehow for the postie, how do you know he gets it right?

Apparently, postie can only bring one label if you are leaving your parcels in a safe place. I suppose if you have more than one parcel requiring a label, you would have to personally hand them to postie one at a time, to be labelled as instructed... 😄

Yes - I don't know why there isn't a 'no label required' option... 😖
