The new when we get paid rules from February.

Ebay was always heavily weighted in favour of the Buyers, but this new mad rule thats coming in next month about having to wait two days after delivery is confirmed to get paid is simply beyond the pale.

And sometimes delivery conformation never comes, apparently in that situation we have to wait 14 days to get our money.  

This is disgusting and completely nuts. A self-destructive move from Ebay.

In 20 years Ive never had to wait 1hr 20 for call back , eBay customer service must busy and getting shafted by sellers and buyers making complaints

I cannot see these new rules lasting , they had pending payments years ago and it did not last it failed

Things will always fail if a certain degree of people are not happy.

even eBay cannot prevent the inevitable from happening.

The only way for eBay to be successful again is to make further changes so that the majority of their users  are happy once again... Ignoring and failing to address this will only lead to further disasters for eBay in the long run.

I don't know to what extent their sales are dependant on private sellers re-spending on ebay. Their sales may even have got a boost from the prices showing on private seller listings for similar items increasing. I don't buy from them very often as I'm picky and like to see photos of the actual item to judge condition rather than stock images which might even be for a different version of the item with the same barcode etc.

I have been an Ebayer for many many years. This has to be one of the strangest things that Ebay have ever rolled out. The CEO either believes this is a great idea or they are a saboteur planted there by Vinted 🙂

The general seller has always been penalised over the year, be it feedback rules, chargebacks due to  fraudulent buyers, but this new scheme has to be up there with the best of them. 

I sold a jacket a few days ago and still waiting for my funds. As a lot of sellers have already stated, Ebay has become greedy and just wants Business sellers, and a such I wont be listing anything else until this crazy scheme changes or I just stop selling full stop on eBay.

Yes, guess what happened this week?  One of my two sales from this week ARRIVED, the buyer confirmed this and left feedback.  However, item is still marked on Ebay as not having been delivered, so I don't get the money they owe me!!!!  I'm not prepared to wait a few weeks so I tried having a conversation about this with the useless AI and eventually asked for a human to talk to me.  It said I'd have a call back in 45 minutes.  It's now an hour and a quarter since that "conversation" and no call back.

Ref my message 1.18 20 Feb, I forgot to mention that my parcel WAS SENT TRACKED but wasn't scanned as delivered.  Even though buyer has confirmed it arrived and has left feedback, Ebay still has it as not delivered, so won't pay me my money as they're supposed to.   Still waiting on a call back nearing 2 hours after request made.

Yep same here. This exactly what eBay want. They are working with RM &
other couriers to not link the deliveries. eBay wants to hold our money for
as long as possible. I changed to Tracked 48 & have 7 successful deliveries
on RM web but not marked as delivered on fleecebay their holding & making
interest off my £237. I've changed all my final listings back 2nd class
small parcels now & actually think tracking makes no difference. They will
hold the money for as long as it takes for a buyer to claim undelivered. We
all know that sort of claim is made by buyer within hours of the final
delivery date, so why wait weeks? It's 1 big con 😡😡🤬

Everyone should keep calling & requesting call backs. Let's make eBay spend
our money on employing extra staff to deal with this massive mess they

If you were correctly registered, you wouldn't have to wait for your money. Private accounts are for sellers selling their own unwanted possessions, not brand new brand items.

So if I went out and bought a sweatshirt from JD Sports, Got called away for work in another part of the country for a month and did not get the chance to try on the top... until 30 days later when I found out it doesn't fit and my 28 days for returning it back to the shop for a refund has passed, I cannot sell it on eBay ??

Update to post today.    Customer service eventually called me back regarding a tracked item that was DELIVERED but not scanned - buyer acknowledged receipt to me and left feedback.  Customer service first told me to contact Royal Mail to get it scanned as delivered!!!!!!!   What????   Then customer service saw that the item had feedback, so they said I'd be paid two days after delivery had been confirmed, which feedback counted as this.    For some reason they said funds would be available on Sunday - three days time.  They wouldn't budge that it is Thursday today and Saturday is two days.

Get this sorted Ebay, I can't be bothered to chase another.

All their listings are brand new brand items with multiples sold. A private seller does not have multiples of brand new items.

You want to sell your sweatshirt, go ahead. You want to sell 10 of them x 20 plus listings, then I doubt these are your personal unwanted items.

Sorry but you and a few other people on here sound like a broken record when you're reading a script "telling everyone to upgrade to a Business Account" when they are not a business, nor have any business experience.  

This is bad advice.
