Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Knowing all that neither do I.
Best of my knowledge Simple Delivery isn't active for Collectables yet.
The invoice system is broken, probably because of the way BPF works.
There is a workaround
But I'd honestly advise taking screenshots like I suggest there.
So hopefully someone else here can shed some light.
Any idea?

Encounter this problem yesterday (1st March 2025). No option and get a message saying there is an issue with Invoicing and suggesting Buyers pay in full for combined shipping and for me to refund the difference.
Problem is buyers are refusing to pay without an invoice.

Happening to me , cannot send invoices see where to send , very frustrating please help and sort this out please

Another big elephant in the room is that this is not at all a green solution - if they truly expect everyone to send out individual packages for each item that is a lot of waste and extra strain on the delivery services.

If I understand this "workaround" correctly, the suggestion is, let your buyer buy, say, 10 of your items, then tell them you will create a listing with those 10 items in with a combined price for postage etc., then cancel the original 10 purchases.
This is full of problems. First you cannot create a "hidden" listing, so someone else could buy the 10 items. Then a lot of what I sell are auctions where one person can win more than one. Now I have to work out what the BIN price is with the faff of the added BPS fee. I'm sorry, this is way too much work for what is an eBay problem. This is not a workaround.
I reported it to them over a week ago and had another phone call with them today. They were very apologetic, but no idea when it will be fixed. I have another complaint about it logged, for all the good it will do.
Bring back the eBay of 20 years ago.

When I was selling here I was mainly selling models. I used to get a fair few combined requests and I used to use the system above.
If a buyer contacts you first saying they want x, y and z no refund is required. If you leave a note in description saying they should contact you first if they want more than 1 of your listings that might work. It did for me.
If they buy, then yes, refunds are required.
& you didn't (*I'll get to this) need to create a hidden listing. Just price it higher to deter others and leave offers open for the real price which only your buyer knows.
*Before that was easy, with BPF you need to run the sums.
It isn't ideal but it will let your buyers get what they want at a reduced postage price.
If you wait for eBay to fix this I think there's a fair chance you will be waiting for a very long time/forever as it looks like it is the BPF fees that have caused the problem.
We've seen examples of combined invoices where the buyer is paying BPF for every single item in it.
It's a "BUYER" protection fee not an "ITEM" protection fee. So they can't actually allow what the system is doing. It's almost certainly illegal.
& it's far easier to shut down the area where this becomes apparent than it will be trying to fix it.

The option to send an invoice has also disappeared from my account. Just noticed today 2nd March 2025
Do I need to register this or will it be resolved with a general fix?

I have had the same problem today with not being able to send combined invoices. I used chat and he said that he would notify the correct team so that it could be rectified as quickly as possible. I hadn't realised at the time that it had been a problem for well over a week! I have told my buyers that it will hopefully be fixed by tomorrow. I am not holding my breath!

I've seen 90 days but that puts it in Q2 which is when mandatory Simply Delivery is supposed to be unleashed now & the way they described that basically guarantees combined invoicing is gone.
There's simply no way it could work when the buyer or AI system are choosing postage options.

Like other sellers, I have been impacted by this tonight. Initially, I thought it was a ploy to get us all to use the new Seller Hub (which is totally not user friendly) in order to send invoices, but that is completely broken as well it seems.
What is going on Ebay? You are making this more and more unattractive for private sellers and customers alike! So many changes in a short space of time, and not all communicated in advance. Functionality missing or changed, new buyer protection fees? I have lost a fair bit of interest on my items as a result.
Action needs to happen to rectify this situation before you lose a lot of loyal users.

I have had the same problem and have been on phone with ebay - Berlin! For 30mins. No solution other than ask buyer to pay for all postage and I then refund- this involves a lot of trust from buyer. I pointed out that against items have not yet paid , Ebay note reads ' we have asked the buyer to pay, but you may send another invoice...' HOW??

I was speaking with a user called aquitania earlier, off memory it's post 176 going on.
I don't know what they are describing, never seen or heard of it before. You have any idea?
