Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

It's different.  And it may depend on the kind of stuff you're selling.  But for your kind of stuff I suspect it could work quite well.  Don't go for the lifetime option straight off, try it out with the cheaper options.  And people in the forums are welcoming.

Maria who is a manager as ebay customer services told me "up to 90 days"

We keep seeing 90 days mentioned, but that doesn't really mean anything
unless we know when the 90 days start from!

90 days will probably be when SD becomes mandatory they don't want us combining postage

I too am now facing the not being able to send invoices from my private account for combined purchases which has been ongoing for me for over 2 weeks:-(

Not being able to combine postage is very difficult to explain to customers when they have always been able to.  If a seller deals with items which would fit on with my collections, I always used to buy other items just to make the postage less onerous.  Of course now we can't just send a couple of items in the same package and refund postage as we wouldn't get paid for the second item which wouldn't show as despatched.Ebay - you are losing a lot of private sellers (or is that the intention?!!)

EBay don't want private sellers.   No combined postage, hanging on to funds till they think it has arrived.
   I am starting to list after a break because of the changes.   I am finding it really tricky to find Royal Mail Postage.   The only way I can do it is, is to go to collect in person then change my mind and Royal Mail option appears.  £2.70 simple delivery on a letter post item selling at a £1 is not an option.

it is all taking so much longer.   Luckily I am a selling inherited items really for fun.     Finding this so frustrating, please bring back seller’s fee and get rid of all the new changes.  Then  EBay make money from every private sale without hanging onto funds and pushing their expensive delivery service.

There's usually an option below the Simple Delivery box for you to opt for
your own postage choice.

When you get to postage section click custom postage that way you can put what you want in my postage is always 2nd class large envelope at £1.55 simply delivery through Ebay hasn't got that
Nobody is going to pay £2.70 for a envelope

I'm in the same boat selling off my record collection at 0.99p each so definitely not worth all the hassle so will be looking elsewhere.
