Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

opt out then wont have that problem god know what people with fishing equipment longer than 1.5 m [max rm parcel force ]will make of simple delivery specially as there are speciallist couriers who do larger than 1.5 m long

I've been on to customer services myself several time in the past week and it always turns into a heated conversastion as they say there's nothing they can do..........REALLY

Will for items longer than simple deilvery. quotes max evri 1.2m. parcel force.1.5m ... but specialist couriers not on simple delivery list above 1.5 m

I definitely will and hope that all the people who reported ebay's actions to the Trading Standards and relevant authorities will see something happening in the near future🤞🤞🤞

have to do manually when doing postage section ther is a box say advance delivery click and then highlights the box then you can select what day and time to list and what postage cost

I'm not sure if it's correct but I was told I'm business if you change your terms and conditions you cannot revert or change them again within 90 days
Like I said this is only what I have been told whether it's true or not I don't know

Like I have said I custom my own postage every time but ebay took it upon themselves to ads there own mark items as dispatched 2 minutes after customer had paid

I too have to click advance for postage options as I use postal boxes that
can go as a large letter. There isn't a category for this. I have to put it
as a padded envelope and go by the weight.

Yes one of my sold items came up as Special Delivery even though I was sure I checked all of them when the auto-relisted - luckily I caught it before the buyer paid and cancelled the listing else it would have been a real PITA

I have heard this "90 days" thing mentioned before but I am a little sceptical about what 90 days represents. Sounds to me more like a general target for fixing faults. A metric. "75% of fault reports will be dealt with within 90 days" or something like that. (Being "dealt with" can include dismissing as too difficult or can't be bothered.)

Yes a month since i posted the original issue, no way round the obvious conclusion now, ebay have changed and amended their system to the point that they cannot maintain or support it, the embarrassment they would face should they ever go public on this would make them a laughing stock, so remaining quiet and uncommunicative is their way of dealing with this so as not to affect share prices too much.
So the failure of a world famous online selling company to provide invoicing facilities to their worldwide private customer base is beyond understanding, it shows the mismanagement and lack of professionalism of the people in charge. Hard to see how they can recover from this other than to reposition themselves as an online facility for businesses only.

I wonder what is the data on slow payments since ebay made invoice button dissapear ??

Even on a single sale I'ts much more preferable to just hit that invoice button than message the buyer "Hey, you haven't paid yet" 😑
