Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

also.. a bit of 'embarassment' on ebays behalf as well if multiple items could be combined into one invoice?

eg.

I sell 10 photos for £3.99 to one buyer - total £39.99

the BPF on each item is 75p plus 4% which is  90.6p  per item

x10 on the invoice (if i could send one) would be an eyewatering  £9.60 BTF 

thats very nearly a quater (25%) total of the whole package of 10 photos... there in black & white on an invoice!

To be fair to all, the BTF should apply to each PACKET sent,  not per item, the protection as i understand it ensures that in case of loss (the package) then the buyer can be compensated.

👍Yes.... after all it  is a buyer  protection fee! Not an item protection fee..

YES WOULD BE NICE IN REAL WORLD your 3.99 x10 would still be same its the postage that would be cheaper bpf does not effect postage .does it ?

Unless they have changed something in the last few hours, you cannot opt out of BPF.

Only works if all items same . not different items size and weight different areas of ebay

Simple Delivery is opt out initially but the CEO of eBay is on record saying he wants it to be mandatory and I think that was bumped to Q2. So could be anytime in the next few months.

Marco, my account is also effected and I have spoken previously to two of your colleagues in Berlin who both assured me this was a glitch that your tech team were working on resolving and was promised a return call which never happened.

Lol that's some glitch, I spoke to a manager (after 4 other useless people at CS) at ebay customer services around a month ago and she told me it could take up to 90 days to resolve.

Seems they've no intention of resolving it.

I have this issue also, but I have noticed a couple of buyers have managed to combine postage on their end when they have paid??....luckily both times the postage they paid covered the parcels being sent.

Thank goodness it is not just me having these problems.  No option to send invoice shows against orders so I can't send combined invoices to my buyers.  I am in the process of selling off my large collection of dolls houses and furniture so am more likely to get collectors wanting more than one piece.  Two buyers have had orders cancelled when I had agreed to wait payment - these have not been relisted and have disappeared from the system. Help

You are being generous - Everything ? ANYTHING is more apt.

Why waste  your time sat on the end of a phone only to get untruths. 

Stop using it and maybe theyll close it down and pass the savings on in fee reductions 😉

Has anyone made multiple purchases with Simple Delivery that have been automatically combined (with reduced postage) by eBay? I'm sure I remember seeing an example of this in one of these threads, but when I've tested it by adding two items from one seller to the basket, it "Simply" doubles the postage cost...

Yes but you get all that with with the money back guarantee anyway so it's just another way of getting free selling fees back.
