Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Yes, true but if that was their sole intention they definitely wouldn't have given permission for the cancel/relist workaround as that is definitely covered by their legal clause in terms and conditions.
The one that, paraphrasing, says;
"Any attempt to circumvent BPF fees can be met with reprisals".
This looks like something they didn't anticipate and they are now in damage limitation mode.
@*vyolla* may have found another one yesterday. Not certain as I've never used it so I don't know how it displays at the end.
It's a system that allows you to automate shipping rules, so preprogrammed combined invoicing.
If that comes out on one list with all items getting hit by BPF then they'll almost certainly have to kill that too.

ebay make less money from combined postage lots.
what they are setting out to do with all the stumbling blocks they have created on Simple Postage is to attempt to Sellers ship one item to one package.
No invoices.
Tracking not possible readily on multi lots..
Instant payment.
Offers on items.

So why did they give permission for the cancel order and relist workaround then?
By the new terms and conditions alone, they could have refused that.
& as they seem to be taking refunds from seller available funds and potentially straight from their bank accounts (following that logic train through) and not from the pending funds specific to the order in question, surely it would have made more sense based on your reasoning for them to simply allow full payment and partial refunds afterwards as the only form of combining sales.

I'm having the same problem. A buyer hasn't paid and I cannot send them a reminder invoice.

Yes I am having exactly the same problem you have, regarding creating an invoice to show discount and also inability to get an answer from ebay. Lost two orders yesterday. I have an invoice to alter but would like some guidance please.

I'd suggest linking the buyer to these threads &/or taking screenshots to show them.
That way they can see you aren't messing around.
To complete the transaction you only have 2 options.
I) They pay for everything upfront and you refund as required afterwards.
2) Cancel the orders and offer to relist everything together with the new combined postage price.

So why did they give permission for the cancel order and relist workaround then?
Did they ?
Ive always seen workarounds come from Members or more so from experienced Mentors.
ebay have very little practical experience of selling on the platform from a users point of view, that expertise comes from Mentors who work independently from ebay as i have been told.
Whether their suggestions are vetted prior to posting, or even have feedback on from ebay later, i know not.

Probably no need to send reminder invoices; Ebay do it automatically. As far as I know the only need to send invoices is to apply discounts and to combine shipping prices.

Yes, because the above workaround falls directly into the new terms and conditions threat regarding circumventing BPF fees I asked for confirmation from eBay.
They replied saying it was okay. On one of the threads and I've linked to it from it others.

I am in the same situation, it is very frustrating as I also have a number of people who have purchased multiple items.

Has anyone had the buyer pay the full amount for multiple packages, then refunded afterwards?
What happened about the label / tracking situation if your items were all parceled in one box. How long did Ebay hold onto your funds?

I have done this for at least two customers. The multiple items still get combined into a single order by eBay and you can generate a single label for them all. The funds are held exactly the same as any other order.

Hi Marco, it's still an issue for me as of today. Any chance of an update?

Option to send invoices still not working for me.

I had to go through the rigmarole of asking buyers to pay in full and then refunding the excess P&P. Not good enough eBay!!
