AS OF 15TH APRIL MY DAYS AS A PRIVATE EBAY SELLER WILL STOP AFTER 19 YEARS.

I AM FED UP OF THE GREED OF EBAY AND I HOPE OTHER EBAY SELLERS DECIDE TO NO LONGER LET THE EBAY CONTROL FREAKS HAVE THIS MUCH CONTROL OVER PRIVATE SELLERS.

Spare a thought for people who commented early and don’t know how to unsubscribe 😂. I have deleted at least 5,000 email notifications from this thread, I’m about to check out now.

Ooohhh DONT get me started on that one! I have found that in the past! Sooooo annoying, I look for UK based now if I want to buy but even then that could be misconstrued. Also I want to add to your post if you dont mind the fact that when I am told on ordering that my item will be sent Royal Mail 48 tracked I expect it to be that way, NOT as I was informed today sent by Evri who wouldn't know the meaning of 48 hour delivery, I won't be getting my item in 48 hours, I will be lucky to get it this MONTH!

A thread covering people's general and accumulated frustrations with ebay might never end - especially if they keep adding fuel onto the fire by tweaking/breaking stuff.

Someone earlier in this(?) thread mentioned the Father Ted car where he kept making endless adjustments until the whole thing looked awful and that's exactly what's happening to ebay.

Click your profile icon in the top right corner of the forums, then settings, in the personal profile tab

there is a checkbox ‘Do not email me’ if you are getting the email notifications too.

When Trump bought in the new tarriffs for countries importing into USA , Ebay did mention that they themselves had filled warehouses in USA with chinese goods before the tarriffs hit ,so says it all really .

I'm not on SD but have seen the spurious £3.64 mentioned on at least 3 threads today, including this one.  Maybe someone else can confirm.

Hmm, perhaps the 'newish' rates will start later this evening? On selected accounts? There's still over 9 hours left of the 20th. 😁

I think the fact that nothing has happened today is a tacit admission that SD is still not working properly. This has to be one of the worst roll outs ebay has ever tried.

small parcels 0-1kg and 1-2kg should both be 3.38 according to the help pages see photo

but when listing today they are 3.46 and 5.15

they need to fix this 

good news is you actually get a substantial saving if you’re sending a 0-1kg medium parcel with RM

The one recent roll-out that worked correctly from day one (or possibly before that) was seller payment retention.
