I weighed my package and set up custom postage for it <4kg - the cheapest I could get was Yodel. But when the item sold, I came to a new screen and selected get postage label - expecting to be able to select Yodel. I was immediately taken to the "you've been sent a QR code" screen. Yikes!
I had no Idea:
- Who the carrier was
- The Max weight
- And crucially - whether my package will be charged for being overweight
Now I can see Ebay defaulted to 2kg and selected Evri. And I can't change it. I have been warned I will be charged twice if I cancel the label. But I have faced a charge for an overweight package before and I don't trust it.
This Simple Deliver says that the package will be accepted even if it is heavier. Is that true?
