Hi. I have received a 'Royal Mail fee to pay' card through today. This, they claim, is due to a seller not paying enough postage.
I am at a stalemate with the seller. Item is 2 weeks late but seller won't pay the Royal Mail fee as they claim they paid enough with the staff at the post office.
I won't be paying the fee as I've already paid postage when I purchased the item.
Ultimately it looks like I won't be receiving my order.
Who does the responsibility lie with to pay the Royal Mail fee ?

There are two ways forward, which you do depends on how much you want the item.
You can make a claim for item not received and get a refund, or
You can pay the fee and get the item. A good seller would reimburse the fee, it doesn't sound like yours will.

Hi there,
The very same thing happened to me yesterday. Waited ages for the parcel to be delivered and then got a card from Royal Mail wanting £3.20 as postage was underpaid. Contacted seller to say I won't be paying the fee. She just sent me the receipt showing the postage paid. Royal Mail will eventually return this back to her and I'll be making a claim for item not received. This must be happening on a regular basis because this is being reported on forums more and more and I've never had this trouble before.
