Hi All,
I bought Royal Mail Tracked 48 for an item I sold (value less than £150) through eBay/Paclink and from the tracking it looks like the package has been lost by RM.
I have the proof of postage slip and so should I claim directly with Royal Mail or from Paclink and what evidence will I need to provide to them please?
Many thanks.

When you buy postage via ebay you claim here:

Good luck.

Thanks. Does anyone know what happens if I claim directly with RM?

Nothing you cannot claim from then as packlink are the ones that purchased and they will only deal with the purchaser.
Same as when a customer claims non delivery it is you the was the customer of royal mail so you deal with it.
Packlink are a middle man and you deal with the middle man

OK thanks. Has anyone been successful with a Paclink claim and what's required for success?

With claims they want all sorts of proof of postage and a copy of the receipt for the item to get the price of it.
They dont make it easy.

The responses that you have received so far are, unfortunately, incorrect. Royal Mail is not through Packlink on eBay (they have a separate agreement with eBay) so you need to claim directly with Royal Mail. Packlink is only for items sent via Evri, Yodel, UPS, and DPD.
You will require proof of posting and proof of item value (copy of the eBay order).

This is correct. It's only Evri, Yodel, DPD, InPost and UPS that are via Packlink.
