Package too Big For Royal Mail - Need To Switch! Can I Do That Under These New Changes?

In the listing, I noted my carrier was Royal Mail Tracked 24. However, the parcel is too big for the carrier. I need to make that switch. Things are different now. If I produce a tracking different to what's in the listing, will eBay release the money when it reaches the recipient?

Package too Big For Royal Mail - Need To Switch! Can I Do That Under These New Changes?

Hi mach1nehead, thanks for your post.

Just to confirm, would this be a case of the generated label not being sufficient and that's why the post office doesn't want to take the item in, or would it be a case of the item being bigger that dimensions accepted by Simple Delivery, and not being able to do custom postage?

Thank you,

Marco

It's the case of measuring it wrong and thinking it was Simple Delivery. The dimensions were just within the limits. In the end, I chose to stick with the advertised carrier, but upgraded it from second to 1st class shipping.
