eBay's customer service proved to be completely inadequate and superficial in handling my dispute. Despite providing ample documentation to support my claim (including photographic evidence and message history), eBay ignored the evidence and made arbitrary and unfair decisions, clearly favoring the seller at the expense of my rights as a consumer.
I had to repeat my story to three different operators, each of whom interpreted the situation differently, without considering previous communications and information already provided. This demonstrates a total lack of coordination and customer focus, as well as a worrying inability to handle disputes effectively and fairly.
Moreover, eBay did not provide me with the complete history of messages exchanged with the seller, despite my repeated requests. This behavior is unacceptable and raises the suspicion that eBay is deliberately trying to hide evidence and evade its responsibilities, probably to protect sellers with a high volume of transactions, such as the one I had the dispute with (over 80,000 transactions).
It is unacceptable that eBay, which boasts of protecting consumers, actually proves to be complicit with unfair and dishonest sellers. The superficiality and inadequacy of eBay's intervention, combined with the lack of transparency in handling the dispute, raise the suspicion that the platform tends to protect sellers with a high volume of transactions, even at the expense of consumer rights. This behavior is unacceptable and undermines user confidence in the platform.
As a buyer and seller with a top rating (5 stars out of 53 transactions), I feel deeply disappointed and betrayed by eBay. Despite my positive reputation and good faith, I was treated with superficiality and disinterest.
I advise anyone against using this platform for important purchases. eBay is unable to guarantee consumer protection and proves to be complicit with unfair and dishonest sellers.Facts are l never received the item l purchased was sent a replacement Which l was disappointed . eBay customer be careful they do have your back for the wrong reason

It's practically impossible for a buyer to lose out with eBay's Money Back Guarantee or Buyer Protection.
I don 't know why you had to speak with 3 different people - the returns system is largely automated. Buyers have 30 days to open a return if they receive an item that isn't as described.
What went wrong with your claim?

Did you actually open a Not as described case for the replacement? If you opened a not received case first, this is the only occasion when you can open a second case.
That would have been correct procedure, it is all automated, and heavily weighted in favour of buyer.
There is no need to speak to anyone, and not the best way to go about getting a refund.

I assume this on another account, as this one has no history.
Always ask questions from relevant account.

Most sellers find that Ebay is more supportive of buyers than sellers.
You haven't explained what happened in your case, but I think most of the mentors (experienced sellers and buyers) who respond in here would say that when buyers have issues, they mainly arise from buyers not following the rigid but straightforward process of claiming for an undelivered item or returning a faulty item.

If the seller has tracking confirming delivery, then Ebay will find in favour of the seller.

Please don't think this is rude, but your last two posts don't make any sense at all.
You need to make sure that what you want to say is really clear.

OP, sorry but your posts are impossible to understand but something you mentioned in your last post made me think you have received something different to what you ordered.
If this is the case you should open a return for that item stating reason: Does not match photos or description.
Assuming you are within ebay's 30 day limit?
Following all the prompts and instructions should ensure you receive a refund.
It's never a good idea to wait for a replacement to arrive, as doing so can run you out of time. Always ask for a refund.

You might have bought as a guest in which case you need to find the email ebay sent you when you purchased it.
That email tells you what to do if you need to return it.
You can also put 'buying as a guest' into the help search box.

at a guess and from what you have written -
you opened a not received case rather than a not as described case.
If that's correct and if you are in time, open a not as described case now.
