Sold an item and payment hasn’t been paid out

I sold a high value item and eBay says the funds will be available on the 7th August. It’s now the 8th of August and still no funds???? I tried contacting an agent on live chat but met with an error message and to try later?

It's still very early and today is eBay's maintenance day too,  so many things go a little awry or delayed,  whilst those in eBay Towers HQ CaliforNIA are tweaking and installing new systems. late yesterday evening i or the early hours of the morning over there in the States.

Try again a little late on today.

Also be aware,  if it is an unusual pattern for you to sell a high value item,  the payout can be held for longer before release.  It's a standard security measure for your account and the buyer.
