HI, can anyone please help, i purchased a torch from ebay, when it arrived the cover to the charger point onf torch was missing, i contacted seller, they said they would send another out, i thought i would check on progress , it says they are no longer a member. I have started a complaint and ebay have asked me to print a label and returne before 21st december, the label has printed ok, do i just send it, or am i wasting my time sending it back to someone who now does not exist on ebay. I cannot contact or find them anywhere? or is this just somthing i have to do to get my money back. I can see the seller getting the torch back, and me not getting my money back......please advise, would be much appreciated. ... View more

I put an item on to sell as both Auction and Buy it Now.  Bids went right up to the Buy it Now price, and then one bidder (the high bidder I think) cancelled the bid.  In doing this it appears that the Buy It Now option has disappeared.  Why is this and how can I put the Buy It Now price back on ? I was selling an item for £9.99. A buyer put in a bid for £12 but it only  shows a bid of £9.99. He did this until he got to £15 but again it only shows £9.99. Any reason why. Selling a number of collect only items including several wall lights with glass shades. I didn't want the hassle/risk of posting/sending by courier due to the risk of breakage which isn't insured/covered by courier (moving house so don't have time to go to the post office which is several miles away - queues at this time of year will be out of the door). Listed item as 'collect only' in the title and collect only/no postage/couriers in the listing itself - seemed perfectly clear to me.  A buyer has bought and paid for the item and when I asked when he'd like to collect said he was too far away; he'd send a courier - when would I be in for this? I replied that it was a collect only/no courier item as stated in listing, but he has persisted with several emails insistant that he will arrange a courier and email me a label to print which frankly is pushy and irritating. I no longer have a suitable box/packaging and my printer for a label is in storage - I work full time and have no intension of waiting in for a courier for a £4 item.  If I cancel the item under 'buyer requested' he will reject it; if I cancel as 'out of stock' I lose fees (I know they're not huge for a cheap item, but that's not the point; I'll already lose paypal fees in refunding). What do most people do about people that bid & win items & then dont pay or back out because "they can afford it now" As far as i can see EBay only allow the resolution centre as a way but this just takes too long.
