VAT Obligations

Hi,

 I recieved an email from EbayBusiness about needing to perform 3 steps (register at HMRC get a VAT number give number to ebay etc)

But I am not a business seller. I recently sold 2 items for a total of ~£200 and before that it's been over a year since I sold anything.

Can i safely ignore this message ?

Yes, it's a phishing email.

Interesting, they use my full name in the grey "proof" box at the bottom of the email.
certainly looks the part.

Yes, it is disturbing how good these particular ones are, but we have been assured they are fake.
