eBay

Hello    Can someone please help with a Global Shipping question, I have been through the help pages but other than the basics I can't find an answer.   I shipped an item to Germany just before Christmas and have been following the tracking, as it was an expensive item, to make sure it arrived safely. The status as of 14 January shows it as an attempted delivery, but with an address query.   Can you please advise what do I do in this situation? Is it up to me to contact ebay or the buyer? and who do you contact, ebay or the courier? Or do I just let it work it's way to a natural conclusion.   Thank you for any advise ... View more

Hi ,   I have been buying on eBay for years without any problems at all even though my primary residence is in France I have had things delivered to my parents U.K. address and picked them up as and when . Yesterday I tried to bid on an item where the seller stipulated that there was only U.K. delivery and all attempts to bid were blocked . Hi, I was browsing for a Hair Trimmer and put a particular one in the Basket rerady to purchase, I noticed it was not the same as the Product Number and did not proceed to Check Out. I found the correct item with another seller and made a purchase. I received an email from eBay to say "Complete your Purchase with the one I did not proceed with. I checked my Basket, nothing in there? I checked purchases nothing there apart from the one I did purchase. Checked eBay Messages nothing there?  Any advise would be helpful Thanks ... View more

Hi  I have available funds in my eBay account after selling items. It is now the second day it is showing available but has not moved into my registered bank account?? How long does this take? I do not like the new way of being paid into my bank account as it is a rather drawn out affair. With Paypal the funds were available imeadiately. Hi,   I'm based in the UK, someone from Russia purchased a model off me on Jan 1st and it arrived today.  Two things, firstly, the model was damaged - there was damage in two places on this one model.  Secondly, I had sent the wrong blooming model.  The first mistake like this in the 3 years I've been selling (mostly in person or outside of eBay due to the high fees), and of course it's a parcel that went abroad. I feel very bad, and seeing as how the model arrived damaged I'll be going too Royal Mail and hopefully sorting that out with them.  I want to sort this model out for this Russian chap though, obviously.  If I were to send him the correct model and tell him I don't want the other model back, can he carry on with his claim and get the money back as well as the 2 models?  Or will eBay, if I update the tracking and what not, go my way once the second parcel is delivered and give me the money back.     Hope you can catch the drift of what I want to know.   Thanks, Eathan ... I bought an item last October and it has now failed. I have attempted to return the item but they insist it is passed their 30 day return period and refuse to accept the item either back for repair or be replaced. As I understand it the item in law comes with a year guarantee and has nothing to do with returns and they should at least offer a repair. I can't find how to get ebay involved as this is  just not acceptable behaviour by this seller ... View more
