Have had to sign up for these managed payments and am a bit confused about things. Will I now not be able to offer Paypal when listing an item for sale ? Is Paypal now a 'no go' for Ebay sellers ? It says buyers will have more options on how they pay. I am a private seller not a business and understand that sometimes there are fees associated with accepting credit card payments. Hi,   is anyone aware of a change in policy with regards to a listings picture enlarging when the mouse hovers over it. It couls be a feature thats been discontinued that I may have missed in recent eBay communications.  Didnt quite get an understanding from the help centre and not sure he was aware of what I was saying as first he said it was working his end and then the function was not available. I had some parcels to be picked up last Monday, but then my wife had an accident and I had to take her to hospital so I was not in when Hermes called. I was left a card saying Hermes would return the following day. The Hermes van did not return on either the Tuesday or Wednesday. By then I had more parcels to send, so was expecting a pickup on the Thursday, where I could hand over Monday's parcels along with the new parcel. But when the Hermes van came, the man did not ring our bell, he just knocked on the door, so I didn't hear him (I work in my home office two floors above). He left a card saying he would return again on Friday. On Friday I left a big sign on my door asking the operative to ring the bell, but no one came. I now have a total of five or six parcels waiting to be picked up. I have CCTV which records all of the callers to my house, so I am sure no one came on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday.  When I try to contact Hermes online or by phone, I am simply told that the parcels have not been picked up. I know that they haven't been picked up - that is not the solution to my problem. It is the problem.  How can I find out why my parcels are not being picked up, and when they will be picked up? Do I need to cancel all my orders and use UPS or Royal Mail in order to get them delivered? I have ebay customers waiting for deliveries. I recently picked up an item  all went well .The seller asked me for a QR code which appeared to have disappeared from my phone . When I returned home it was also missing from my messages. I cannot change the status to Collected ( as I used to be ableto do)  ? anyone any ideas what to do as the seller needs to have the collection code   kind regards vin ... View more

I got the offer from an eBay email which I followed directly listing the items, the first one sold and they've taken about £83 in fees out of the payment. The offer is valid for sales between April 27th and May 26th, I listed the item on April 28th, it sold on the 29th and the payment was made on April 30th. Does anyone know how to resolve this or how I can contact support? Seller paid insufficient postage and left me with a excess charge. Seller promised to pay and asked for recipes etc. These have been sent but no refund has been made and selling now not responding to messages.  Can't find an appropriate place to complain about this in resolution center. I purchased a "note 10 " 9" Tablet in December 2020. Unfortunately after a month it failed to work. I have been in contact with the supplier and he he says he will repair it . I have postage to China and the item has been received in March. How long should I wait for my Note 10 to be returned?  and should I need to keep asking about it. Every7 time My seller says it'll be a few weeks. At the moment I have been told to wait until May, but I am still awaiting delivery. Is this reasonable?     ... View more

This is going to be one of those awkward deals to resolve.   I bought an item on the 27th .   Seller used Packlink, which i've never heard of but it seems they're associated with Ebay and are an agent, not a courier in themselves. Item was £150   So before delivery, i get an update via email saying Hermes have my parcel and here's the tracking number. My heart sank.  Hermes...... of all people.   Anyways, today  (  30th April ) i get another message.  Your delivery will be between 12-2.00 pm.  I start listening for the doorbell.  Nothing Next i get a message saying " Parcel Delivered " Now then, i live in a block of flats, and trades people can press the trade button if they want access to the lobby, but thats as far as they can go.   So within 15 seconds of receiving the " delivered " message, i was in the lobby wondering where this parcel was.  There was nothing there at all.  I go back to my flat and then another message, from Ebay this time,  with a photo of the parcel in my lobby.  Very clever of the driver, you cant see the label with my name and address on, just a blurred photo of label on a brown box.   I contact the seller who is then going to contact Packlink.  Meanwhile i  decide to have an online chat with Hermes digital assisstant .  I log the incident and they will "get back to me "  Meanwhile i see if i can do an INR with Ebay, but there is no option, since they believe the parcel was delivered.  I paid via Paypal, but not from Paypal funds.  I used my Debit card, so when i look at my PP transactions, the transaction is not in my activity, so they wont be any good either.   I've logged this as a theft with my local Police online, but the last time a Hermes driver ripped off a parcel from me a few years ago  ( £110 worth of Kitchen flooring tiles ) they never did  much at all.  The driver got away with it. Hermes back then washed their hands of the whole deal   I'm not sure if there's anymore i can do right now.  The upshot is that i'm waiting for Hermes to call me after i logged the problem with their chat system. They asked for my phone numbers.   Also the police sent an automated response, via email , as i reported online. When and if they decide there;s a crime, i will get a crime number. I recently sold an item to an international buyer for £114.50, including postage. I used EBay's Global Shipping option so the postage cost from my end was only to the shipping hub in the UK. The seller has stated the item is faulty, which I wasn't aware of, and has opened a returns request and he wants a refund of £152.67, which is £38.17 more than I received in the sale.  I have messaged the buyer to ask why the difference but he hasn't yet responded. I am assuming it is because of import charges or some other charge imposed by Ebay's Global Shipping?  I have no use for the item and have told him he can keep it. I have no problem refunding what I received for the sale  but am I duty bound to refund the extra £38.17 that he is claiming? ... View more

A buyer has abused the ebay money back guarantee claiming an item was listed not as described even though it was listed in line with ebay policies.    I asked ebay to step in and ebay have decided in favour of the buyer. I was selling a remote control and some of the buttons were not working. I stated this in the listing as well as stating this when I sent the invoice yet ebay sided with the buyer.
