Hi all Ebay are now asking for collect in person to scan qr code or put in a code. I had someone buy 2 items and to go around paying for postage twice they did one of the items as collect in person. Both have been sent  and received but the buyer is not sending me the 6 digit code to clear it off my to send / sold list. Any ideas how I can get rid of this.     Kind regards Saj ... View more

Hello, I opened as a not as described case for some shoes that hurt my feet  - the seller had a no returns policy but received email from eBay saying to return for a refund. But the seller opened a case against me which meant when I clicked on the link of the case details it wouldn't generate the ebay label and said the return has been closed as the seller opened a case. I rang eBay who then put the case on hold saying to wait 6 days for the seller to provide a label and to ring eBay after the 6 days if still no label. EBay message on the link also states they have sent email to me saying that the case is on hold and that they need further information but I haven't received such email about the further information from me from eBay. I bought 2 items from a fraudulent seller in the US. The seller got hold of a Fedex tracking number saying these items had been delivered in my city. Fedex confirmed to me they were not delivered to me nor signed for by me. Paypal are not interested because they say their address requirements have been met as the delivery was in the same city! Ebay are not interested because they say Paypal are dealing with it. Is fraud actually important to these people? ... View more

I bought a pergola for £389 a few days ago. The next day i received a message saying that instead of it turning up on the 17/6/21 as advertised, that it would be delivered in 15-20 days. I was willing to accept this as they said it is being made to order. Today the seller is asking for an extra £250 as they say that the costs of the wood have sky rocketed recently and that they would now be at a loss if they sent me the pergola. Are they allowed to ask me for more money after i have already paid?  I thought that it was a contract or am i wrong?  i compared it to going to the supermarket and picking up a loaf of bread at £1 only to get to the till and be told that the price of flour has gone up since i picked the bread up and now if i want it i'll need to pay £2. Hello, I have just noticed that Ebay are charging me VAT on top of the Final valuation fees, never paid this before. I am a small private seller and sell my own second hand clothing, why would I have to pay VAT when I sell my own used items? I sell from the UK and only post to the UK. I am not registered with a VAT number. I thought that only the big sellers who have shops and businesses have to pay VAT. I do not understand how it is legal to be charged VAT for my personal items that I own Can someone please tell me if this is allowed? ... View more

I live in a row of 5 houses all with the same postcode and same number with the exception of 4 of them ranging from A to D the anomaly being the fifth which is mine. Does anyone know how I can contact an ebay member who purchased an item from me over a year ago?  I have his ebay user name from my paypal transaction details but not his email address.  Can I send a message through ebay without doing it through a live order or listing?  Paypal says to contact the buyer log in to your eBay account and go to your selling history but I can't find any selling history, ebay seem to delete it very quickly. ... So I have never had this problem before in the long history of using ebay I brought an item from what I thought was a company this was to protected myself as much as I could as it is a bit of a pricey item and for a teenager for school work.The item arrived but its not fit for purpose so I was going to contact seller and ask for a refund and to ask how to send the item back to them,  but 1 the item is not in my purchaes history which I find strange and 2 I cannot find the seller on ebay.  I have tryed to contact ebay but unless I can click on the item I do not seem to be able to get hold of them, as I wanted them to help me fine the seller if I can not contact the seller and as ebay has a money back garantee I was wondering if I could get my money back from the garantee.     Thank you to anyone who can help me.  ...
