I have a current issue with a UK based supplier who has supplied an item clearly marked UK stock, and yet when I want to return the item unused I need to send the product back to an address in China, this would cost me more than the item is worth. Just sold a fairly high value LV bag for £568. This is not the first time I've sold it...in fact its the 3rd...for some reason this items seems to have attracted a lot of timewasters. 1st was to someone in Australia who didn't wan to pay the customs. 2nd to someone in UK who made offer only to ask for 2 weeks to pay when I accepted it. I wouldn't have minded but their address was a petrol station and they had 0 feedback. So not much for me to go on. 3rd and this is my latest sale and question....top bidder who bid within 1 sec of me listing item and then out bid other intrested parties. They have low feedback and have only been a member since March 2021. Obviosuly everyone has to start somewhere so can't really stress too much about the low feedback. More worried about the postal address which just says Charity Shop its not a ECP address. If they pay and I post tracked delivery to a shop and not a home address will I still be insured if something goes wrong ? I'm feeling bit nervous and not sure wether this is a known eBay loop ? I mean if they work in the shop what if it's not their signature? could be on their lunch break and someone else signs for it on the other hand I used to run a shop and deliveries to there were often easier as no waiting at home. I contacted a seller about buying a car on Ebay. The listing says "Selling for a mate, contact him on xxx email" and not to contact via ebay.   The broker is in Spain, selling on behalf of his brother who died recently. Payments need to go via OFX.com money transfer service, who the seller advises offer a 7 day return of money.   OFX don't offer that service, but when googling it, the same story comes up many times on forums for people that have been scammed by the same person.   I just checked and the seller has 800 listings open, many with bids. The active bids currently exceed £500k and rising. The seller has only 17 feedback and no sales in the past 12 months,  but suddenly has 800 vehicles to sell.   This is obviously a scam, and lots of people will lose money, but I can't see how to report it. ... A buyer has opened a case against me for an item not received, Ive sent them the tracking number and it clearly shows that it been delivered on 3 seperate occasions but there has been no one there to collect it. What can I do as its not my fault. ... View more

I have recently been the victim of fake tracking. The seller used a company that provides a tracking number before they receive the item. This has meant that I am kept waiting for over a week for a refund once it is clear the item will never be delivered. In the meantime where is my money and how people is this happening to? If it is even 1000's we are talking about a lot of money sat in someone's account earning them money whilst we have to wait for a refund before we can buy again. Something is wrong here! ... Hello  please can I have some help / advice  I posted a package, and then a week later I got a rude email stating it hadn't been delivered ect, I checked the proof of postage and I had put a 8 in rather than a, I checked on the Royal Mail website and it said it was delivered 2 days after I sent it! , i informed the buyer this, and sent the proof of delivery screen shot, she then came back saying that was the wrong address however that was the address that was on eBay as I just printed it out,  can some one please give me some advice  thank you xx ...
