We are an OSS VAT registered EU company and selling to other EU consumers. With OSS the consumer will pay their own countries VAT rate independently of in what EU country the seller is located. On eBay, we can only add the price included VAT in the listing. We have the opportunity to add one specific VAT rate to the listing but we are not sure what country VAT we should add here. The VAT rate in the EU country we are selling from? However an additional problem is that this rate is changed back to 0% after some time. We have got different answers from eBay support depending on the person. One support staff told us we add our countries VAT rate and eBay will automatically adjust this depending on the consumers country. But like above said the VAT rate is changed back to 0% automatically after some time. Any other EU sellers here on Ebay.co.uk made the VAT setup work? Looking forward to hearing if anyone made it work and how.
