Buyer bought an item but them reported it was damaged in receipt. I accepted the return, but when it came back it was missing parts.
I contacted the buyer who admitted to still having one part and said he'd send it to me. I have not received it.
I reported to eBay there were parts missing from the return, but I keep getting emails asking me to refund.
Had I received the original purchase back, in full, I would refund; but I'm reluctant to without all of it being here.
I don't know how to get eBay to help me.
When a case is opened it's all automated, no point challenging it at that stage.
So, you need to fully refund, and then you contact eBay Customer Services, and appeal the decision for the refund. Muster all the evidence to present to them.
You have all the evidence there, as the buyer you say in messages, direct CS to these, has admitted to still having a part, and so the item was returned not in the same condition as sent out. Therefore, the buyer has abused their 30 day MBG for their refund.
