I went to buy an £800 MacBook today when eBay said my payment failed (via debit) which I thought was weird because I was sure I had enough. I then tried again and it said the same thing. I then tried PayPal and that said I had insufficient funds. I then went to check my banking app and the money for the item had been taken (pending) and I had received no email or app update- and nor had the seller. I have just accessed the buying history on something I was unsuccessful in bidding for. I was suprised to see that at one stage three consecutive steps  were attributed to me. I expected my bids to go up only when someone else outbid me. How can this be? ... View more

Hi, my buyer is requesting a refund as they haven't received their order yet. I posted it second class signed for as agreed but unfortunately it hasn't arrived yet. Hi all. I ordered two pairs of Birkenstocks from the same seller and received a notification that they had been delivered, by Hermes, to my "safe place" (I do not have, and have never told Hermes that I have, a "safe place"). When I entered the tracking number given by the seller into Hermes' website, a message came up saying my postcode did not match the tracking number. I've contacted the seller three times to ask them to check with Hermes and check that they themselves sent to the correct address, but he is not responding. I requested a refund through ebay due to not receiving the item and, miraculously, the seller came out of hiding and provided ebay with the Hermes tracking number as "proof". Without the postcode matching I cannot look further into this with Hermes and the power lies with the seller to check but he is ignoring me! I've raised an amend request on a generator as it doesn't produce power. The return label doesn't even come close to covering the cost of returning the item.
