  Dear all    I'm having a big problem. I was waiting for a plant  and after 14 delay trying to contact the seller and ask ebay to jump in the case  they have decided that the case has been closed because the seller said was delivered to me but this is absolutely not true . I don't know now what to do is not abou the £10 which I've spent for the plant but it is for my respect which I didn't received at all .  can please one of you help me with this situation?  I really feel like I've been forded  and that's absolutely not fair   ypu will fond an attached file where you will see the GLS item tracking number which was expected to be delivered within 09 june , is currently still not delivered  ... I WON'T sell on ebay again unless they retract their draconian rules and READ the responses from Genuine SELLERS who are CONNED by ROGUE Buyers!  I sold a Jumper back in December labelled SMALL and gave measurements ! Buyer said it was 'Not as described as LARGE' !!! Despite repeated requests to the Buyer to READ the Description and to EBAY to READ by Lising THEY found in favour of the Buyer and refunded with me having to pay for return of DIRTY item! I have a buyer who has left 100s of negatives and appears to have opened almost as many cases. It appears from her feedback left for others, that she habitually claims item arrived damaged/ripped/stained/squashed/smashed/faulty and when sellers don't refund her (she refuses to return the items) - she leaves negative feedback. She has also opened an alarming number of item not received cases (4 in the past month, over 30 in the past year), according to her own feedback comments.   She bought an item from me and messaged me before I had even posted it. I explained it was packed ready for posting the following morning (as scheduled on the order detail) and that the estimated delivery date was Friday 25th June to Monday 28th June (again as detailed on the order). I said it would probably arrive before but I couldn't guarantee it. She has repeatedly messaged me to say the item hasn't arrived and I have repeatedly explained that it won't actually be overdue until Monday 28th. She said she was going to report me to ebay and I said she would need to wait until the delivery was overdue before she could open a dispute.   She has now filed a payment dispute instead so the funds are on hold and she has requested a refund through her payment card. The only way I can stop the refund going ahead is if I can provide tracking when the item has arrived. Hopefully the item will arrive tomorrow (I sent it via Royal Mail 2nd class small parcel, which isn't a paid-for tracked service, but does provide confirmation of delivery when delivered). So hopefully that will be enough for the dispute to be cancelled.   However she has made it clear that she is going to leave negative feedback as she considers me an unhelpful and rude seller. What I find most alarming about the situation is that she has clearly, judging by her feedback profile, been scamming sellers for at least the last 10 years. I can only report her to ebay if she files an item not received claim and I can provide tracking. The value of the goods she has scammed from sellers must amount to several thousands of pounds over the years so I'm wondering if I can report her to the police - would they even be interested? I'm dismayed that buyers are allowed to get away with this and the sellers have no protection - unless they can prove delivery. If she claims the item is not as described or claims it arrives damaged - which she has a history of - I'll be forced to refund her anyway I imagine?  ... View more

A buyer won a listing I was selling but didn't pay.  I messaged them and they said the postage was too high, I said if they weren't willing to pay I could cancel the listing.  They never replied, but paid £1.20 for the item (yes, £1.20) and selected collection in person.  I live on North Yorkshire and they live in the South of the country so I knew collection was unlikely!  However, I still messaged them to arrange collection and again, no reply.   I opened a case with eBay, followed the guidance and refunded their money.  I haven't sold anything for some time and have just gone to list some items and noticed my feedback is now at 95%.  It appears that although I did everything correctly, was totally not in the wrong and opened a case with eBay, the buyer was still able to leave me negative feedback?!🤷‍♂️ My first negative feedback, dropping me from 100% to 95%.  This has really annoyed me!  What can I do if anything??   Thanks, Andy.   ... I bought a large chinese carpet.....had several online chats with seller regarding using courier for collection prior to end of sale.  Contacted buyer at end of auction to say I had been unable to process payment to him as there appeared to be a issue with payment link.  He replied 'Ah yes...I need to update a few things; will email you when I've done that".  Despite numerous requests to seller for update I have not heard from him and now ebay are saying they are going to cancel the sale.  I find this whole experience very odd; why go to the bother of listing something and then not have your payment details set up?  Also worried that my non-payment will reflect badly on my ebay track record. ...
