Hi, hope someone can help  I've just bought a tent from a private seller and paid imediatley with paypal. He's saying the money has not been received yet and can take up to 72 hours with the new system. the only issue is that i need to collect the tent tomorrow and he obvioulsy won't let it go without the money   does this sound right?  ... I've recently sent a package that was damaged on delivery and missing half of the contents. I sent it using packlink (and ultimately Hermes). The later of which looked at the case and agreed it was at their fault but said it needed to be claimed through packlink. They said they would open the case to get it resolved and issue compensation. My latest reply was that I needed to resolve this myself through packlink. When I attempt to I'm asked to provide package numbers I don't have, just the Hermes number. On my selling page under tracking it shows 'claims code issued'. Can someone elaborate for me please? ... View more

In the alst couple of weeks I have not been able to leave feedback for my buyers where I issued a combined invoice. I get an error message saying there is a problem and please try later. Well, I tried later and still the same problem. Single items are OK. I am getting less and less feedback from buyers without this problem so would like to look after my good buyers. I am having problems replying to messages from members, for about a week now. Anyone else? I can only type one letter in to the reply and then it won't accept any more.  Character count on message shows 1999/2000.  The only way I have managed to do it is by typing my message elsewhere, obvs have to keep it very brief, and then copying and pasting into the message. Then it will send.  It's a real problem if it's very close to the end of an auction when time is important. Can anyone help me to solve this please and thanks in advance.  🙂 ... View more

Hi, there, I have been a member of ebay since 2008 and this has never happened!   Buyer received parcel (royal mail 2nd class tracked) today, item was signed for by buyer on delivery, buyer sent me a photo of the parcel as it had been cut open and the item had been removed.  Photgraphic evidence received of parcel.  Buyer has 0 feedback on ebay   Will contact ebay but I find this very hard to belive the issue is ligitimate.   Thoughts/advice appreciated.    ...
