This site explains that some years ago a number of experienced buyers/sellers were ask to join the 'EXPERT GROUP' formed by eBay. It stated that as they were not, and are not eBay employees that they gave the best advice they could in an unbiased manner. Some of the expert remarks to me have been quite insulting and not the unbiased manner one would hope to receive from an expert. I find from the responses that I have received with regard to my VALID NEGATIVE FEEDBACK being disallowed, that this might be because I included a concern about the eBay response to my problems. I was told by an expert that eBay know of the issues with this Seller (who sells both expensive buildings – sheds etc but mostly very cheap items). The cheap items contribute vastly to the Seller’s Positive Feedback, and are designed to offset the Building Negative & Neutral Feedbacks which are watered down further due to a number of them being disallowed.  As a consequence I was more than a hundred pounds out of pocket.  If eBay truly wanted to have a reliable platform for their Sellers & Buyers and if they are concerned about this Seller and any other who manipulate the Feedback Percentages, then they had the ability to remove my eBay comment, or amend it, thus enabling potential Buyers to make up their own mind based on True Feedback percentages and comments. I think that I may have answered my own question here, because there is not an open forum that allows conversations about unfair Procedures to enable Policy Amendments. We are constrained by not being allowed to speak freely. My answer to my question is: NO THIS IS NOT A COMMUNITY SITE TO SELF-REGULATE EBAY. I listed a car and someone hit buy it now instantly. He then tried to haggle the price saying he'd done it by accident because he thought it was a much lower price. I realised it was a dealer trying it on, so I said I'd relist or offered a meet in the middle price, but he just went silent. I then got messages from a third party offering the same low price & pretending to be from another part of the country - obviously I suspect this was him using another account. I offered same meet in the middle price that I had offered the first time, but again he went silent. So, I cancelled the sale & now can't relist until he agrees - which he's ignoring. There doesn't seem to be any way to get eBay to help other than waiting 10 days. Seems wrong that anyone can just shut you down like this and there's no come back. Anyone able to advise? Thanks ... Hello,    My attributes and options keep swapping over without me changing them.    I set attributes at the  top and options underneath on a multi listing.    The next time I check my listing they have swapped around. I have contacted Ebay about this and they have said it is a problem they are working on but this has now been going on for a few months.    Ebay also say that it doesnt really matter,  I don't agree with them as I believe it is affecting my sales.   Any ideas as to how this problem can be solved would be gratefully recieved.   Many Thanks ... I have been trying to get a replacement part, contacted the seller they agreed to replace, then nothing, they don't reply to emails nothing is happening, Ebay are usless the help just goes in circles nothing is happening, I bought this one as two previous were no good , I settled on this one because it had a 2 year warranty  but that is not happening. I've been receiving abusive messages for about a week now. Apparently this person's wife bid on a set of golf clubs and won the auction! The order was cancelled for no reason.  The husband now is taking all his anger out on me even though I don't ever auction my clubs! I always do buy it now or best offer! His language has been awful and been told I'm gonna have my head smashed in. Just wandering what if anything I can do? And can he find out my address ? OK so I collect diesel watches , I don't have much but I love my watches, recently I got a largish amount of cash and earmarked cash fir some watches, imagine my surprise when theres were watches that were around 30% cheaper but not too cheap to make me suspicious,  plus they used stock pics of actual branded diesel watches and the actual model numbers diesel use, I bought 7 watches , first thing was 5 out of the 7 watches turned up an they were grey when id ordered did colours and even the add described the colours I ordered...its took a while now and finally sorted it out , but the watches sold for about 70£ are also literal rubbish, its like they are made from tin, and they must cost nothing cos all the watches were from 2 different sellers,  one just said don't bother sending them back and just refunded me, I know I'm an idiot for buying them but Iv bought a fake one on here for less than10£ a year or so ago to see what they were like, so whats happening here is basically a hike of prices to the point its closer to the real thing to make it look more legitimate      ... Hi everyone. I bought a sat nav screen for my car from a car breaker on ebay based in Lithuania. The seller confirmed the part was correct after I supplied the relevant information. The part arrived very fast despite the seller messaging me that it would take weeks as I had chosen economy shipping and should pay £20 to speed it up. Anyway.  The part won't work, it's not compatible. I've done my own research and because of the year the part was produced it runs a different voltage to my system so will never work. Do I have to pay postage back from the UK to Lithuania because of a mistake by the seller? Their returns policy states Buyer pays return postage.  Thanks for any help.  ... View more

Hello,  I feel l have been stung by a customer who bought a dress off me on ebay.   She had the dress for a few days then said it was too short! The dress was from the shop NEXT a retail shop in the uk, it was bought over 3 years ago, and we just decided to sell it on ebay.   The customer replied l have taken it back to the shop next for a full refund of £30 even though the dress sold on eBay for £10 to her.   It was packed in a old next postage bag, as it was s best suited for the dress rather than a box with bubble wrap under is my mums next detail's for refunds. (very blare as the postage bag was old) .   Customer now wants a full refund of £30 and is claiming next the shop gave my mum a full refund.   This is not the case next have not refunded my mums account and claim the customer is lying.  We contacted next customer service twice this week.      What can l do please?.
