I bought some brand new walking trousers in May from an ebay shop. Because they were new I didn't examine them too closely. I had to keep them until lockdown was lifted and I could book a walking holiday. I went on the holiday last week with the trousers and found that there was a repair behind the right leg meaning they couldn't have been brand new.  I contacted the seller and gave all the details. He was very helpful and we agreed that I would return them for a refund upon my return. So yesterday I did just that. This morning I received the curt reply 'The return period has expired for it.' . For ten days now, I have used the ring back facility (on a daily basis I might add), to ask them to remove the block they have put on my account. It's because of this suspension, I can't re-list or add anything new. Infuriating as I am always being told someone will ring you back in the afternoon, and guess what, nothing happens. All I want to do is bring my account up to date and pay my outstanding fees and they just will not let me. Why. End of the day, costing it's both money. Any ideas anybody?? ... View more

Looking for advice. I was selling an authentic LV bag on auction, person who won bag made no communication about payment so I reported her to eBay and tried 2nd chance offer. Next thing is I get email saying my bag is counterfeit which it is 100%not as I bought it in Brown Thomas in Dublin 20yrs ago. I sold a china jug, bowl and saucer set - the postage was standard 2nd class.   I wrapped the items individually in bubble wrap, put them in a box - wrapped the box in bubble wrap and wrote FRAGILE on the label.   my buyer has said he's now out of pocket, I've explained the above to him but am I liable to refund this money??   ...
