Purchased an item & seller said already sold

Just put an order through this morning & after confirmation received got e mail from seller saying already gone !! The moneys left my account. Is this possible??

You cant force the seller to sell and neither can ebay.

It is very bad ebaying.

You could try to report to ebay.

If they did not sell it through ebay they may class it as an off ebay sale and check to see if the seller

exchanged any contact details with the buyer.

If the payment has  been taken open a not received dispute one day after the lateset estimated day of delivery on the listing

Unless seller refunds you will have to go through the Item Not Received route to get a refund.

It just sounds as though seller is not prepared to honour the sale and you should leave a negative feedback saying just that.

If item is in your purchases then you bought.
