Hi all . . .  I have identified a scam merchant operating here on ebay . . .. . . he has a few vehicles advertized on classified ads .  .  what he is doing is demanding a deposit through bank transfer then agreeing to deliver vehicle .  . of course vehicle never arrives and then he blocks your calls . .  . No detailed information can be found through his account . .  . ebay wont help as its just a classified ad and no transaction has taken place . .  . is there any recourse? ... View more

I've started to create a EBAY account for my Business (a Ltd Company) and under the Personal information and Privacy settings. I get into the Personal info panel where it identifies account type as Individual. When I try to edit it I get a confirm button below the text "Upgrading to a Business account requires you to update your account details." When I press it I get "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later." I've left it three days and it still does it ! Are there some account details hidden somewhere I need to fill out (if there are I'm failing to find them). A buyer has scammed me saying he has not received the virtual items & wants a refund, all was recorded. I then found out virtual items aren't allowed to be sold but I already made a dispute comeback at that point, I didn't think it would charge me as I was just showing proof?? Now I have to pay £14 for what? For giving £600 worth of items & being scammed? How do I avoid this, I've already lost to this scammer, I do not want to pay this extra fee for absolutely nothing. ... Hi I changed my ebay name but made a mistake and seems I can't change it for 30 days, I believe i hit a key by accident before I was ready. This is not good. Can any one help at all? I bought a lawnmower for £240. The item battery was faulty. Told the seller who take days to respond every time, they eventually arranged collection for the mower. They have now stop all contact therefor have the item plus my 74yo mothers £240. Due to the delays in response etc ebay said there's nothing they can do. No advice,nothing! We can't leave feedback at the very least to protect other buyers and feel this is shocking from ebay. I purchased an item on eBay on 4th July which hasn't arrived.   When I asked the seller to check what's going on they provided me with a copy of the proof of postage showing the address the item was sent to.   The item was sent to the incorrect address. But - it was sent to a previous address of mine (an address I haven't lived at for 12 years, but would be in my eBay address history.)   I have confirmation emails from eBay and Paypal saying the item would be sent to my current, correct address.   The seller says they were provided with the incorrect address by eBay - and I believe them because it's a previous address of mine and therefore unlikely to be a coincidence.   The most logical explaination seems to be an eBay error - but I don't know how to contact them without opening a claim with the seller, which I'm reluctant to do because they clearly did everything right.   Is there a way to contact an eBay representative about this without opening a claim against the seller?       ... The title covers most of it - I converted 10,000 Nectar points to a £50 voucher, and it's not appearing at the checkout. I've confirmed that the voucher was created.
