I recently purchased an iPhone 16 pro max which developed a fault and have started the return / refund process.
The seller almost immediately apologised via message and confirmed they were happy to issue the refund once returned.
My question is this...
I realise that eBay refunds are sent back to whichever method of payment was used at point of purchase, (which in this case was my debit card)
HOWEVER, I have an outstanding hold on my eBay balance funds which is currently ongoing with something I sold...
With this in mind, will this effect the amount I get refunded to my debit card, or are current holds on eBay balance independent from refunds to debit / credit cards?
