Another issue with Simple Delivery.

Saw an item i fancied it was listed with a start bid price or best offer. Before offering a best offer i could see it had different postal options

Click and Collect in local store price £2.05

Standard tracked delivery £3.09

Express tracked £3.71

Click and collect would have been my choice because it would have been more convenient for me, however i offered a price over the start bid and my offer was accepted, i had an eBay balance. eBay took payment from that and rather than offer me the choice of the postal service used they automatically charged the highest amount for express delivery. Seller has sent a picture of the parcel with postage label attached. Guess what, it was a standard tracked delivery that buyer was sent by eBay to print out.

Why not give me the option to select my choice of postage? Why charge me the higher amount? Also why did eBay send a cheaper label to the buyer to post my item.

Something stinks.

Word of warning don't have an eBay balance if you make an offer on any item. I've learnt my lesson regarding eBay balance, get it out as soon as you can.
