Normally I avoid sellers with low feedback but I ordered from one because he had 100% positive score. It turned out to be a total waste of time. He generated a tracking number but didn't send my order. After 5 days Evri still hadn't received the order so I requested a cancellation. He refused the request claiming he'd sent it out the day before. When I asked him why Evri hadn't updated the tracking to show they had it his response was, "they'd gone mental." I didn't bother replying. Two days later and still no order or update I filled out the "I didn't receive it" thing. His response to that was to ask me for the tracking number. I have no idea what the point of that was. I sent it to him even though it's on the order page. Since then nothing.
Anyway, I left negative feedback. I didn't insult the buyer or offer any opinion. I posted the same as above. Just the facts. So I was surprised when I noticed my feedback has been wiped. My question is, what's the point of leaving negative feedback if the seller can have it removed? This seller now has 100% positive score which doesn't reflect his behavior at all, and I still don't have my refund.

at a guess you violated eBay feedback policy.
an example is the last neg you left that's still there, in which you said - "I will be reporting them to Ebay, and I hope EBay takes action against them".
That feedback would have been removed if the seller had complained.

In defence of the seller, there have been multiple instances this year of both royal mail and evri tracking been very slow to update, especially this month. I have received a couple of orders, which are still showing as in transit. Plus, with ebay, just printing the postage label out annoyingly marks the order as dispatched, which is not the case. Ultimately, if the item does not arrive, you will open a case for non-delivery and be refunded.

The exact same thing happened to me too. The postage details are hidden when you're buying items now, You just get a generic 'tracked courier delivery' post. So you don't even know Evri is the delivery company until you buy.
