I purchased an item in February 2020, which was stored until July 2020 until it was required. After one use, it developed a fault so I contacted the seller and they requested a short video to help them to identify the problem. The video was sent straight away and the seller said the faulty part had been identified, a replacement part would be sent, but as it was coming from China to the UK, would I be willing to make a contribution towards the shipping cost. Reluctantly (because alledgedly it was under warranty) I sent the a contribution. The part arrived a few weeks later, but the electrical wiring on the replacement part is very different to that on the original part, again I contacted the seller, only to be told that it would be fine and I should go ahead and install & test it. I refused as we have a combination of flammable gas and sparks from an igniter unit so I'm not going to guess which wire connects to where 😉 The seller requested detailed photographs of the wiring, which I duly sent, they have now stopped replying to any of my messages and I am struggling to find the exact route to contact eBay about it
