I'm a new user on eBay and I've been selling some pairs of shoes, which one of them recently had an offer (Womens W Nike Shox Enigma 9000) from someone who claims to be in the USA, and wants to purchase it for their cousin, who is in the UK. They stated that they'd send me £170.00 via PayPal in order to buy them a £100 Amazon Gift card alongside delivering the shoes as they stated they wanted to "gift their cousin and make it more presentable" to the location I was given. Is what they're trying to get me to do a scam? I'm really confused, and I have barely any experience using eBay. Any answers which would help me out here would be appreciated whether its worthy of doing what they asked me to do, or should I just deny the offer and wait for a different buyer who may be better.

Does anybody rate this new log in system I for one think it's stupid 3times I had to do the I'm not a robot and 3times put my ID and password in surely surely there must be a more simpler way of logging in.... I know sucurity and all that but this is bonkers absolutely bonkers they take enough monies off you to sell stuff and when you sell stuff surely they can employ someone better than this person who's doing the job now to come up with a better system than this stupid stupid thing

How do I close my account? I used it once some years ago and never have since. The contact options send you round in a pemanent loop. Not a clever way to retain customers

Wondering if anyone else is having this same issue. Basically I go to my home page in the app and its full of offer from sellers on things I haven't even looked at and an item it said I purchased which I didn't, and isn't even on my purchases page. I can't change my password due to an error message, I can't log in through another device because 2 step verification isn't working and I can't switch 2 step off either. Ebay answer via twitter was to just create a new account, which I obviously don't want to do as this account has my seller feedback.

It's common practice by fraudsters to list high value items at lower than market value, and to include two images. One of the item for sale, and the other is a black and white image with a message to contact them at an email address. It would be trivial for eBay to run an algorithm against upload images, to identify these. If someone's selling a motor vehicle and one of the images is 75% white and 25% black, it's a fraudulent listing. It's not difficult. If you look at high value motor vehicles, you see them all of the time. I know the fraudsters would then adapt to this; but it takes low effort on eBay's part and they ought to want to stop fraud, surely?

I received an ebay item delivered notification yesterday, but no item delivered Royal mail tracking was signed CV19 but they have not recorded who signed for or recieved the item I contacted the seller yesterday who said they would follow up via royal mail Ive been to the local sorting office and phoned RM who says the item was shown delivered on my street but none of my neighbors have it and the postwoman can't recollect it being delivered. Strangely, as of this morning the seller is 'no longer a registered user' Ebay just points me back to 'contact seller' but them it wont let me send message Anybody seen this sort of thing before? what do i do now? Still this item is on line, been reported too many times now this fraudulent activity i am feed up to keep reporting this, and then see it has not been taken down, it seems the only time anything gets done, is when i complain here. i hate to think how many people have conned while this is still on line.

I cancelled the order and blocked the buyer but have now had messages demanding that I make the item. If they decide to leave negative feedback will ebay step in and remove it?

I have just receieved some fake RayBan sunglasses in the post. There is a return slip in with the glasses. I have not ordered these glasses. I do not sell these glasses. I have an ebay return ID, an ebay item number, an ebay buyer ID and an ebay order number. I'm confused that these have been sent to me with my full name and address on the envelope. Can anyone help? Thanks

I recently sold an item on Ebay and the transaction went sucessfully- including positive feedback from the buyer. However I have been receiving emails from an unsuccessful bidder who firstly requested I cancel the sale so he could offer me a higher price. I refused. He has subsequently asked for the sucessful bidder details so he can make them an offer. I refused to do this. He has now looked at one of my other items and is asking questions on that- and also asking me to contact the successful bidder from the sold item! I have sold on ebay for several years but never encountered an issue like this. I am concerned that if he buys something from me that negative feedback etc will be left. Has anyone else experienced this type of behaviour and how did you deal with it.

I recieved a partial refund from a seller but found I can no longer leave feedback. This seems unfair as it was a terribel service and people should know.

It was nothing sinister, it was for bicycle frames. I asked the other person who uses the computer apart from me and they never saved that search. I removed it but wonder if I should be worried about this. Is somebody trying to access my account? thank you for your help.
