I have just receieved some fake RayBan sunglasses in the post. There is a return slip in with the glasses. I have not ordered these glasses. I do not sell these glasses.
I have an ebay return ID, an ebay item number, an ebay buyer ID and an ebay order number.
I'm confused that these have been sent to me with my full name and address on the envelope.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Start by clicking on your "My eBay" pages, and make 100% sure that they were not ordered on your account.
If they appear in your recent purchase history, either someone in your household has used your account without your permission, or your account has been hacked/hijacked.
If the latter, see eBay's advice below about getting help with a hacked account: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/account/protecting-account/get-help-hacked-account?id=4196&st=12&pos=1&q...
If someone has just sent them to you by mistake, I really wouldn't worry about it. If they included an email addy with the return slip, you can if you want tell them to send you the cost of postage to return them. Otherwise, it's up to them to discover their mistake, and contact you. I'd just put these fakes in a cupboard for a few weeks until or unless anyone contacts you, and then bin them. Why go out of your way to help someone who's selling illegal fakes?
Click on Advanced Search, top right of any page, next to the blue search button) insert the item number and tick Sold Listings. The listing should come up. Click on Contact Seller link, near top right, and let them know.
If they or their buyer want the item sent on somewhere they should send you the cost of postage from their Paypal account.
