Yes, you can. This is adding a statement in a blank-looking description field (you can't alter the original statement.
In this situation, eBay says you can change:
If you've made a major mistake, it would be better to apologise to the bidder and end the item to relist correctly.

Thanks I thought you still could but all I’m getting is this page

Is there a fault with eBay

Hi maddy450_0, thanks for your post.
I was checking for you there, and I see no issues suggesting this problem. You can try clearing the caches and cookies of your browser or using a different browser and that will hopefully work. However, I can see you are still using the classic view and not the seller hub. We've noticed that the issue you're referring to often happens when you use the old version, most of the times when you switch to the latest version/seller hub, this issue stop, you can try both to see which one helps.
Below, I attached a screenshot where you can see where to switch to the seller hub in order to help with this issue.
Thank you,
Marco

No,Not yet.I will wait until the last item sells then try and revise and if I can't I'll contact Ebay, there is only one left so won't have long to wait.

I have spoke to eBay this morning very helpful lady who could see the grayed out page on my listing, she as contacted tech support and I have to wait 24 hrs to see if they resolve the problem.

Not sure if you have tried this but If it is a single item you don't need to click revise, just go to listings and available quantity and you should be able to change it there.
See where the pencil icon is

Thanks for you reply, maddy450_0.
I've just check from my end, and I see no issues preventing you from updating your listings, did you try using a different browser? I am unable to replicate the same issue you're getting, so this probably wouldn't be from our end.
Regarding your question, if you have no bids for the item you want to end, you can go ahead and you won't be charged for it. However, if you have bids, you would be charged. If you click here, you will see a table where you can see when you can or cannot end a listing, and when fees would apply and when it wouldn't apply.
Thank you,
Marco

I have just been on live chat and spoke to someone who as told me there is a problem as lots of people have complained, they are trying to sort it out but they dont know when so i will give it till tomorrow, then if its not sorted i will remove my listings

Thanks for your reply, maddy450_0.
I understand where you are coming from, and you are free to do as you wish with your listings, but please note that if there are bids, fees will most likely apply, and an appeal would probably be denied. I just don't want this to catch you out of guard, and this resulting in a poor experience or something similar like that, but again this is completely up to you.
Regarding your issue, I've just tried again, and it seems to be working ok for me, but I don't know the conversation you had with the agent. However, if you wish you can stick to what the agent that addressed your concerned told you, I'm sure they provided the best guidance/help.
Thank you,
Marco

Again Thank you for your reply I have just spoke to eBay over the phone and this as been solved for me maybe I didn’t make it clear about the page be greyed out, it’s not the description box that is greyed out it’s the whole page, and it’s like the page is constantly trying to load, several members are having this problem no one knows when it will be fixed,
