has any one came across the problem of a buyer putting in an offer and and the offer being accepted by the seller and the buyer not paying for the item, it i have had 3 of these in the last month, the last one i sent them a message asking if they were going to pay so i can send the item and they replied that they never got notification of them winning the offer, this has happened to me a lot over time and ebay just say its buyers remorse, this is definatly an ebay problem made worse by recent changes to the system, now the buyer has a set time to pay for the item but they let it expire, but the worst thing is the offer no longer shows up unless you go searching for it, the item will also stay listed till its paid for, it seems ebay is devolving fast, its no longer a peoples auction platform, i have spoke to ebay about this problem and they always say we cant find a reson this happened.

I have the suspicion that sellers of similar items tend to be the watchers. I rarely get a sale from the offers I have sent.

i wonder the same, i think watchers should be removed from the system, i have been doing retro modding to a lot of old consols and have found that its 50 50, i have had a lot accept but i tend to buy broken stuff as i can fix them, but as of recently i have put in offers on multiple items and the seller just ignores the request, dont even bother to reply, now days i tripple list on 3 sites, get more interest and scammers on facebook, but have found that the ones that ask for post i just give them my ebay listing, scammers dont reply but the people who are interested put in the offer in a day.

I might add this if it helps others, if you accept an offer send the buyer a message telling them that you have accepted stating that the system often dont let the buyer know, i will start to do this now, yet another work around on ebay blundering i guess.
